This was my family's first trip to Holiday Hills. The staff was wonderful! We had an electric situation that was fixed immediately. The tiny home we stayed in was very nice. The deck was awesome. I would recommend that management consider trimming the two trees in front of Lakeside Place 2 to give a better water view. The pool at the resort was very clean. We loved that it was much deeper than most pools at other resorts. The pizza, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, and ice cream at the restaurant in the camp store tasted awesome! We hope to return next year! Wonderful stay!

This place is basically a glorified trailer park. Around 80% of the campground appears to be made up of permanent, year-round residents. The sheer number of golf carts was frustrating—residents zoom around at Mach Jesus just to travel 40 feet to the pool. It’s a completely different atmosphere from what you’d expect at a traditional campground. There’s no hiking, no sightseeing, and the so-called “beach” is pathetically small. As an engineer, I have serious concerns about the structural integrity of the deck outside the camp store. In my professional opinion, the owners should have it inspected as soon as possible. From visual observation, the footings appear compromised, and several joists show signs of rot. Another major issue is the location of the waste disposal station. It’s directly next to the camp store, where many people sit outside to enjoy ice cream. The smell is terrible. I’m fairly certain there are FDA or public health guidelines about how close open waste systems can be to food service areas. Even worse, the dump station is located at a higher elevation than the pool. During heavy rains, any spilled waste could potentially run downhill toward the pool. I’m not sure what kind of inspections campgrounds like this are subject to by the state, but this one raises several red flags.

I have stayed at holidays hills resort many times, and every time gets better and better. There is so much to do for the whole family. A swimming pool, a fully functional store, kayaks, renting the boats and being able to rent a golf kart to lug everything around has got to be the best thing! Another thing I love is being able to fish in multiple areas! 10/10 recommend!

We loved our visit. The staff was great, the lake was beautiful, the beach was everything we needed. They have fire pits so you can roast marshmallows, golf cart rentals, beautiful cabins, and the pool was so nice, on a hot day

Leaving disappointed. We have been coming to this resort for over 30 years. It has gone down hill. The ac unit BEEPS ALL NIGHT. It’s so incredibly annoying! The wifi doesn’t work. The tv doesn’t work. The little beach area used to be kept up nicer for the kids. Fishing area by the docks needs to be picked up. They allow so many golf carts down by the docks by the townhouses my 1 year old almost got mowed down. Only good thing was Chef Jamie’s food truck. This will unfortunately likely be our last year. I’ll be looking for something with more amenities for children and simply just want a good night sleep. I’m currently writing this listening to the AC unit just beep away and keep my baby up. I seriously can’t wait to leave

This place is great! We came for the 4th of July and stayed in the studio that over looks the boat ramp. Room had everything we needed and was clean. Staff are friendly and always have something fun going on (at least for the holiday), giant bubble machine, cornhole tournament, trucker hat bar, tie dye shirts, and of course fireworks! Highly recommend getting your own boat slip and a golf cart rental! The pool, beach, and playgrounds are great as well!

Campground is very well maintained with plenty of room for kids to play. Beautiful view, easy access to the lake and fun family activities. All the employees are so helpful and kind. We love Holiday Hills!

We loved our stay at Holiday Hills! We visited in route to Missouri for the solar eclipse, and Holiday Hills offered the only available campsites that weren't priced gouging. We had an incredibly affordable and comfortable stay, the staff made us feel at home, the views were beautiful, and the food truck was impeccable. We definitely want to come back to stay in a cabin or come back for more camping in the future. (:

She went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel important to Holiday Hills Resort. We will be rescheduling our stay soon and can't wait to meet Tracey personally! Management pay attention, there should more like her!

The staff were amazing and so helpful. I have to give a shout out especially to Chris in maintenance-we were headed home after our stay, stopped at the office to leave the keys and found out our tire was completely flat…he came by, offered immediately to help and he worked with my great nephew to get the piece of metal out of the tire, patch it, and air it up. That was such a huge help and blessing to us. Thanks to everyone at Holiday Hills.

This campground is mostly long term campers and some people seem to live here in their campers. The staff are very nice. The playground is in poor condition and the sites with sewer hook ups are for the long term campers. There is a very steep hill into and out of the camp ground. They do have a boat ramp for access to the lake and a pool.

I used to be a permanent camper and after we sold our place we stayed at Lakeside Place. Thr view is gorgeous, the deck is huge, and trailer is very spacious. We would definitely come back and stay in Lakeside Place again!

I’ve been coming here with my family every summer since I was little. So many good memories here. There is something so magical about this place. Throughout the years, we’ve stayed in the spacious Holiday House (great for big families), the awesome cabins overlooking the gorgeous lake view, and the camper/tent sites. Now that almost everyone in my family owns a camper, we really enjoy getting camper sites next to each other every year and having campfires/dinners together while people walk and drive by on golf carts, waving and smiling. It’s such a friendly atmosphere. At the resort, you can go fishing off multiple piers, there’s playgrounds for kids, a ton of beautiful hill walking, a very well kept pool, you can rent kayaks and paddle boards, there’s a store with super friendly staff, etc… you could stay and have a great time without ever leaving. We do enjoy the restaurants/bars around the area! So if you wanna have a nice night out, there’s so many options at this location. Definitely an amazing place to spend with your friends and family year after year.

I can't say enough good things about Holiday Hills! From the ease of booking to the beautiful updated and spacious accommodations, it was such a great time staying there. We stayed at the recently renovated Holiday House, and it was fantastic! There were 5 adults and 1 toddler, and we had so much space, with the little one able to even have her own room. And a big enough space that no one woke her when she went to bed earlier than the rest of us! From the patio lighting to the fire pit, it was just such an inviting experience. And everyone was so kind and helpful. While we're from the area, we came into town for a wedding in Paducah, and even though it was a little bit of a drive, I would do it 100x over to get to stay at Holiday Hills. We definitely look forward to staying there again in the future! Thank you, Holiday Hills Staff!

This review is for one of the log cabins at the resort. We had a great time there! The cabins are perfect for families and provide a great view of the lake. Our two little ones slept in the upstairs loft and our teen daughter took the extra bedroom. The staff goes above and beyond and were just so kind and helpful. We rented a boat one day and had an absolute blast. We also rented a golf cart for our stay and the kids LOVED just zipping around on it all day. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.
