It's our first time camping here for a vacation visiting family in New Port Richey. We stayed at site #6 in our 38ft. Motorhome. Nice clean concrete site with full hook ups and a picnic table. Very nice clubhouse with billiards room, excersize room and huge library with puzzles, books and dvds that you can borrow while you are here. Everything was neat and clean. Outdoor games such as connect 4, a big chess game and shuffle board. A nice clean laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers in the area we were closest to. The pool was not open yet after a renovation due to waiting on a permit I was told. Had the pool been open I would surely have given a 5 star! We found this place to be close to everything we needed to get to. It was in the high 80's for Temps so the pool really would have been nice. It was quiet here. Staff and residents who live here were kind.

Nice quiet place to live. Great neighbors. Very helpful. Short and long term options. Great value.

This is hardly an RV RESORT! Booked a 2 week stay and left after 6 nights, disgusting…ducks and ferel cats everywhere. Long term residents feed them, duck poop everywhere…talk about a depressing place, I think the homeless hanging outside the front entrance are better off than those in the park!!! Place is a complete eyesore, rv’s are thrown in amongst old disgusting mobile homes…🤮

Have a 23’ trailer. Stayed here because we are members of Thousand Trails. Guess there was a reason why this was the only place I could get a reservation on short notice. Most spots are by permanent residents. Very tight roads and narrow spots. YOU NEED A SURGE SUPPRESSOR. The first day we stayed there was a big surge. Water pressure a little on the low side. The sewer hook up is in the concrete so it was a little difficult to hook that up. Bathrooms are not air conditioned. Now for the good parts - the library and club house is great! Pool tables, competition shuffleboard, horse shoes, and corn hole courts. Pool looked nice. Pet friendly but no free run area. I didn’t see any strip club as prior reviews mentioned but there is a liquor store and lounge, restaurant, and grocery within walking distance. Very short drive to the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. I liked the location but I too wasn’t going to be walking around at night. There were a lot of homeless people hanging out by the entrance to the park.

I am trying to relocate another Encore property closer to Tampa to help a friend. Holiday is a lovely area so I stopped in.. I was greeted by Cheryl, the Parks' Administrative Assistant. Cheryl was warm, friendly, professional and really took the edge off of my stress level, as relocating and timing everything just right is not fun! Cheryl made me feel at home. Being a female and alone, I felt very safe. The park is meticulous, pool sparkling clean and the large pond is very well maintained. The guests and residents at the park were happy and congenial. Fingers crossed I this will be my new home away from home. Looking forward to muffins and mimosas.. LOL

We booked through Thousand Trails online for 2 days. I was on my way to the park at 1:30pm and received a call from the manager. He said that he was leaving at 2pm even though check out time is 2pm. I asked him if I would have any issues getting my RV into the spot and he said no. He didn't even know how big my RV was so how could he answer that? I showed up pulled my paperwork from the box and proceeded to my site. I realized while driving down the narrow roads that a lot of the people extended their carports to be really close to the roads edge. As I pulled up to the site I start looking around to figure how I was going to fir. A resident & i began to talk and she said that my RV is too large and I would clip 2 maybe 3 carports trying to get in and out. So opted to end that helpless journey. Headed back to office which was closed and tried calling with no help. I ended up finding an open site and parked my RV there and didn't have any issues except it was not full hookups. Place is a bit creepy at times and it's mostly all live in RV and trailer homes. Be careful and make sure they know how big you are.

This is not your normal rv resort. It does have clean , working restrooms. Has a nice pool, and amenities . When we arrived, the electric hook up was so far away from my site, I had to go spend $100 for a 30 amp extension. Then, only to find out there is no WiFi in the park. I’ve been in parks from NY- Fl. And Northern California, and throughout the country. I’ve never encountered no internet. Which was unfortunate because we were hoping to be able to watch the Super Bowl. Folks are friendly and for the most part this a site where people are permanent residents. For us, a dog park is a major consideration. There is no dog park.

Not bad, but not great. Friendly and helpful staff. They put our RV in the front yards of 2 mobile homes. 🤷🤷 Very packed in. Narrow roads. Super close walking distance to a grocery store, liquor store, a local bar, pretty good restaurant, great Greek food truck, and a pretty good strip club. Close driving distance to tarpon springs and Dunedin.

Very nice, kept up & clean, trailers close together but normal in a park this size. Residents all seemed happy. Lot rent a bit high. Over all Nice

We stayed here this past week with our Thousand Trails membership, so it was “free” for us. They replaced the front entrance sign while we were there, which is a symbol of the upgrades occurring around the place. All washer/dryer machines accept credit/debit cards, which made paying so much easier than planning ahead & getting quarters. Also, there are multiples buildings throughout the park that have shower & laundry facilities, so there are not lines for either. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. There are a ton of permanent structures with seasonal snowbirds, but they are very nice & friendly towards kids. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. We had the only two children we saw the entire week we were there, & there is no playground. BUT, the location is perfect for accessing the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs, the city life of Tampa (Zoo, Children’s Museum, Bayshore Blvd, etc.), the beach vibes of Clearwater, & the amazing playgrounds & sunsets of Dunedin. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!
