We stayed at the holiday travel park in Chattanooga and it was a wonderful experience. The pull through RV spots are roomy and easy to access. Everything is laid out so nicely and the amenities are on point in every way. I particularly enjoyed the interaction with Sandra who took our reservation and did all she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Please don't take the 3 star review as a negative - we look at it as the guide does, "Average", meaning there are pros and cons. A huge pro is that they do their best to place RVs in every other site. Something that too many places just don't think to do. Thank you for that!! Another pro is that the site was perfectly level, and all utilities worked fine. One con was the noise. Although far enough away from the interstate, the local streets/neighborhood generates a great deal of noise. Revving engines, speeding cars, very loud motorcycles, incessantly barking dogs, sirens - we certainly were not expecting all that. The second con is the price. $65 WITH the Good Sam discount is pretty out of line. Overall the place is nice - two pros and two cons - average.

Nice campground, very conveniently located from I75. We have stay here twice year going to and from Florida. Sites are little close together and narrow, and you just pray it doesn't rain because they will flood and or be extremely muddy, they need little work. Nice dog park and easy walking around the grounds. Office staff is ok, not overly friendly in person or on phone. When made last reservation with Diane she seemed put off that I ask about certain sites, but... we've been here enough that there are few we would prefer not be put on and for price you want a good non muddy site. There is airport and drag strip close by so it can be quite noisy at times. The seasonal sites are sometimes somewhat of eyesore with all the junk they have sitting around but fortunately they are separate from general campground. Would and do recommend.

This is our second time staying here and I did not review it the first time because I felt that we didn't really have a fair shake. This time things were better but I know what I know from last time, if that makes sense. The park itself is tidy all around. I can tell that the people who work here care about it. Bath houses are spotless and fire pits are policed. I didn't see a single cigarette butt anywhere. The pool is nice and well kept. Now, for the things holding it back from being 4 stars. None of the spots are paved. All of them are gravel. And for the price they charge, I expect a paved pad. It didn't rain this time, but last time it did. And when it rains, the place floods. There are major drainage issues and we were in standing water to our ankles in some places last year. Lastly, roughly half of the park is taken up by what appears to full time residents. If that matters to you or yours. Also, you are right under the take off path of the airport and next to a drag strip. Constant noise over head and off across the street at the drag strip on the weekends. So there's that. Location is super convenient to Chattanooga and all the things. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, just pray it doesn't rain!

The campground was nice. Most of the sites on the south side are fairly level. Some even have two sewer hookups which works out great for campers with numerous dump connections. Only complaints from our particular site was the short site. We had to park the truck sideways after unhooking. The site was also more narrow than some other campgrounds we have stayed. That being said I would have no problem with staying here again.

If this really was voted one of the best parks in North America, the voting must have been restricted to Good Sam parks. There's mud everywhere, a pond where the map shows tent camping and half of the park is filled with permanent residents. For a Good Sam park, it's not too bad, but I've stayed in mediocre KOA parks that were better.

Quiet and peaceful. Close to lots of things to do. Nice people. Clean showers and bathrooms. Would stay here again.

They have a dog park. Clean restrooms and very quite. Better in March than January.

We have stayed here a couple times and had a great stay. The only problem I have with this campground is it needs a better drainage system. Our site was almost ALL under water, due to it raining.

I had hoped to stay here. I booked a reservations in conjunction with traveling back to NC from FL in January. I called numerous times, left a message and emailed them to cancel due to the freezing temperatures that rerouted us back through GA to avoid below freezing temps. A week later I get a call from a very kind lady saying I was a no-show and would not be getting a refund. They kept one nights stay. I think this is unfortunate. To not be available and then to not give a full refund ranks very low in my book as a business owner myself.
