Why google has this as a hotel, First off this is a campground! Nice campground, very clean well maintained. We came up for wedding only got to stay a couple nights. We got sites next to friends had a great time. Only issue i had was tight in some areas for large fifth wheel good thing it wasn't full..lol we'd stay here again you're in walking distance from lake michigan.

This was our first visit to Holland State Park, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We stayed at the beach campground, where the campsites were generously sized and the utility hookups were well-maintained and easy to access. The bathhouse was impressively clean, well-lit, and conveniently located. One of the highlights was the stunning night sky — with the campground set away from the city lights of Holland, the darkness allows for incredible stargazing. We enjoyed breathtaking views of stars and planets that made the evenings truly memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay.

This was our first time staying at the beach campground at Holland State Park. We usually book at the other campground, but decided to try something new — and we’re so glad we did! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which makes it super easy to catch a sunset or spend the day by the water. The campground itself has a really nice vibe, and the facilities were spotless — probably some of the cleanest bathrooms and showers we’ve seen at a state park. It’s definitely a great spot if you want to be close to the beach while still enjoying the camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Since it was Labor Day, the park was very crowded to say thw least. But the beach is great overlooking the Lake Michigan. Crystal clear water is enchanting to just sit and watch. One can take nice walk on the pier that extends well into the water. Lots of boat activities were taking place. Excellent location to spend the day!

Holland State Park is a decent spot if you’re looking for a quick beach outing. The view of the iconic Big Red lighthouse and the sunset over Lake Michigan are definitely worth seeing. However, the park gets very crowded, especially on weekends, making parking and finding a quiet spot on the beach difficult. Facilities like restrooms and concessions could be maintained better, and sometimes the cleanliness of the beach is hit-or-miss. Overall, it’s nice for a visit, but not the most relaxing experience if you’re hoping for peace and space.

In the off-season, during Tulip Week, We stopped by for a beach walk at the light house. It was just a day trip and we only visited the small area by the beach. Parking, beach, and restrooms were clean. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

This campground is pretty open on the north side. The bathrooms are newer and clean. One thing they are very strict about entry times as posted on the weekend. As a result the line gets backed up. The location is close to downtown. Nice hike and walking trails

We drove to the campground so that we could drive through there and take a look at it and decide which site we would like to camp at this summer and the guy at the gate wouldn't let us go in and check things out. I've been camping for 40 years and I've always driven there at a time to check out the campground so that I know where I'd like to stay. I was shocked that he wouldn't let us drive through there and check it out.. We won't be staying here for sure. I've never in my life not been allowed to drive through the campground to check it out before we chose a campsite....

Bathroom was nice.. Only thing I can really say for the place. Oh, staff was nice too. Place is super expensive and you’re packed like sardines. Outer campsites are feet from the busy walking trail and road. Over $50 a night to stay w the MI pass thing.

Nice park, fun playground for kids, has a fountain and a great view of the lake. Would like more trees, a few more convenient trash cans and drinking fountains, but a fine park. And across the street from the ever exciting fire station!

Camping at the beach this weekend. Love this place. Camping in a parking lot is great if you have a camper. Not so great for a tent. Large lot, friendly people. Great walking. A favorite getaway close to home.

Great place to get away. Check the view. When it is warmer walk the pier. Also when the state park open enjoy the store and souvenir shop and ice cream. And of course the beach. Yeah have a great weekend.

Loved being here. It was cold but I had a wonderful time with a friend. So many good places I have been and I'm blessed with the many activities I am getting to do while I'm here. I don't get out of Springfield much but when I do, I enjoy where I am with my life. God bless and I hope you all stay warm and enjoy the nice view there is here.
