The only boat rental on Big Bear Lake open this late in the season, they were super easy to work with and extremely pleasant and helpful. We were able to take one of their pontoon boats out for about two hours and enjoy the scenery of the lake. The water is lower this time of year so just stay towards the middle of the lake to avoid hitting things. Overall a great experience. Was a little surprised that they didn't require flotation vests or indicate on the boat where they might be stored.

Nice RV Park & Marina. Very clean and well kept grounds. Very polite and friendly staff. The only drawback was the "lake side" sites are were not next to the lake because the water level was too low, although the view of the mountains and adjoining area was still very good. Also the Wifi was not working and many of the sites were occupied by boats that had been winterized and wrapped for the season. This trip was in late October so we will return again in the summer months to try it again.

Cindy has been top notch, going above and beyond explaining this great little town. They run a nice business and they Make it very easy to relax and unwind almost instantly. No pressure, it's been a great experience. I Will recommend and I will be back.

Had a blast on the lake. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. The staff took the time to explain everything thing you needed to know before we left the dock and when we returned. Loved the RV park the most friendly staff. It is a beautiful park to stay in. Can't wait to go back.

I loved the lake tour. Absolutely stunning and a great experience for your kids. Don had a great narration while educating us on the lake’s history. I would love to let him know that most native people do not like the reference Indians as this is a derogatory name giving by the colonizers of the Americas. As me and my son (California native) sat aboard we enjoyed the tour, but the sad reality that the California government paid its settlers to hunt down many California natives and killed them for money. I would love if the word Indians would be changed to natives. As natives are still existing today, we fight for our rights to be known and we have survived hundreds of years of genocide at the hands of the US and Canadian government. Note: erasure of native/indigenous people still happen today. I hope this helps to improve the experience with other native/indigenous people.
