A good breakfast is my favorite meal, any day any time of day. This was a GREAT breakfast! For the prices maybe I was expecting small portions. Nope! Two huge fluffy and delicious pancakes, two nice slabs of scrapple cooked perfectly (IYNYK), crispy breakfast potatoes, and nice dippy eggs. It is clean, friendly, and has great coffee. I stumbled upon this place on the ladies’ bingo day, apparently. I didn’t play but it was a fun vibe. If you’re in the area…12/10!

I normally do not leave reviews, let alone read them. But I feel I should leave one, that being said we have coming here off and for a few years, and this year made the switch to a seasonal site. I will start with the staff in opinion very friendly and helpful, and have noticed improvement in the facility. And yes there are some improvements that are still needed like definitely the bath houses needing some upgrades/ freshen. So far people that we come across have been pleasant to us. I know you can't please everyone that's for sure. I am a little confused that nobody from camp ground has replied to the negative reviews and only the positive reviews. We are looking forward for years to come in our new seasonal site!!! Thanks Kenny and the rest of the staff.

This is by far the best campground in Delaware ... the staff is friendly... we have made so many friends at the campground that we love hanging out with. The activities for the kids are great!! The kids love to go feed the goats ( so do the adults). The pools are very well maintained and very enjoyable.

The bathrooms… it’s time for an upgrade or remodel. The toilet seat is falling off the hinges. The bathrooms are dirty. More staff need to be cleaning it periodically. It’s a nice campground but dirty bathrooms are the deal breaker for me. If they change that it would be 5 stars

One of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to. We have a toddler and this campground had so many child friendly amenities. We stayed at one of the tent sites and was pleased with how big it was. Bathhouse was very clean. Location is also ideal if you want to take a quick beach trip. Last thing I'd like to mention is the camp store and grill was amazing! They have MTO food which is convenient for someone who doesn't want to cook! We will likely return.

You need to check out the grill!! Great spot for lunch for locals too! Breakfast sandwiches are hefty and delicious. But have you tried the soup of the week? We’ve had jalapeño popper, cream of crab (SO MUCH CRAB!), and most recently French onion with short rib. Every single one was fantastic!

I’m so excited that I’ll be able to visit the goats and all of those special little ones tomorrow I need to stock up on my cereal and I can’t wait to put more photos and it’s great. I couldn’t believe how many people saw what I had posted, but you have to experience it so super cute. 🫶 I will be the first person to admit that I would say I would just hang out for a half hour 2 to 3 hours later trying to make friends with a chicken or four. It is such a relaxing time. By the way, the goats they really like music. 100%.

I did not like this place very much. First of all, there is no lake. There is a lot of swamp. Second, they have a bunch of pens with goats, deer and chickens that is noisy and smelly, and I kind of feel bad for the deer. Third, the bath houses need to be rebuilt as they are small, old and stuffy. Mosquitoes need to be mitigated. Trees should be thinned to allow a breeze and clear up the humidity. Potholes are big and plentiful. Staff is OK, management and owners aren't very accommodating. Campground is immense with a strange and difficult layout. Pool is in the middle of nowhere, behind an odd 10-ft stockade fence, not visible from the outside, not within walking distance from cabin and tent sites, far from many RV sites. Food is 1/2 mile from pool and there is nowhere to eat near the pool. That kind of ruined my plans to have dinner poolside with the kids on a 90-degree day. Large seasonal population kind of trashing the place up with Trump flags. Store is huge but poorly stocked. They have great potential, but they really need to invest, hire some more maintenance people and see what the surrounding campgrounds are doing if they want to compete. I will not return anytime soon.

The grounds are nice and the folks running the campground are very friendly, but there is definitely a party atmosphere. Quiet time is at 11:00 pm, which is pretty late for most campgrounds. Even then, many guests didn't respect it. There was a group directly behind our campsite that was playing music, shouting, and shining bright lights until early in the morning. To the staff's credit, they did kick the group out, but it wasn't until 2:30 in the morning. While the staff can't control everything people do, it was crazy that they gave so many warnings and waited so long to remove the guests. The only other improvement area was the bathrooms, which were pretty run down. They did clean them consistently, but the way they're set up makes them very difficult to stay clean.

I drove through. I lived in community parks before and Loved it. Im curios about any local musical festivities. We had open mics at ours in New Jersey, was very lucrative and fun.

I Highly recommend this campground. I've noticed that it was getting a little worse for where over the past few years , but this year I was delighted to find out they close down early to do a lot of renovations and im excited to see what renovations they do. this place is a wonderful family camping spot with animals that you're able to buy fee from a gumball machine to toss to the goat's chickens and other animals that are in a enclosed spot within the campground. it's also close to the ocean and in my experience it's a good family wholesome laid-back place to camp with plenty of trees to camp under. small little water park within the campground as well. good people!! (that can make and break place you want to go back too) I hope they keep the old time look to the camp store that brings back so many good memories over the years. each site has water and electricity very reasonably priced compared to the other campgrounds in the area especially on weekly rates. no pesky rangers to throw their weight around. don't get me wrong they have security and demand respect for their place and other campers but they don't breathe down your neck like some of them Park rangers. If you go camping at the right time of the year they have a pow wow down in that area. which is awesome. a lot of native Americans bring back some of their heritage and share it with us pale faces. it's simply a blast!! cannot say enough good things about Holly lake. The few pictures are of the area surrounding the campground

Nice place, clean bathrooms. Staff friendly and place is huge (800+ sites) Talk to office about your rig when you book as roads are narrow. Mostly seasonal sites it seemed to me but no problems during 3 nights I stayed.
