Rented a small cabin, queen and a bunkbed. Was extremely small for what the picture showed on the website. Semi-clean except for shower head, Keurig machine. Does sulfur water was tough to handle. Needed a little better maintenance screen door was broken. And maintenance on the coffee machine and the shower. Very tight sites they packed in as many as they can get. And I'm sorry camping like that with your neighbor right on top of you is not camping to me. Staff members were all excellent, friendly, courteous, helpful. But for the prices Sun outdoors charges offseason in the middle of the week, that cabin should have been immaculate, with a free dinner.

We have camped here before in our pop up. This year we decided to check into a deluxe cabin (262). We arrived yesterday for a week. From the outside, it's nice. Inside, there's a smell. Like mildew. It is quite gross. The water smells horrible. You have to use bottled water to brush your teeth and make ice. There is a super small outdated tv in the living room and none in the bedroom. I like to watch TV before bed. My biggest complaint is the wifi. I paid $1900 for the week and the wifi is non-existent. Some may think this isn't a big deal but I can assure you, in the year 2025, wifi is necessary. If I pay $1900, I expect wifi.

This campground was recently purchased by Sun Outdoors and in the mist of still making the switch over. However, you can see the money and the changes that are being put into the campground to be updated. At no point were we affected by the renovations or work being done on site during our stay. Our family appreciated the ease of arrival, the pool and the other amenities the campground had to offer. As you get further I to the campground you can see a slight difference from the front entrance as far as the grounds go, but with time we have faith! We’ll see you again next year!

My family and I had a great experience at this campground. Our site had plenty of space and was right next to pool and bathroom. The location is great, not a far drive from cape may and wildwood. The pool was clean and water was warm, hot tub was hot. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. The store was reasonably priced. My only complaint, The bathroom was a bit hot and could have used a little more cleaning, but it was usable! Would definitely return again

This was our first time staying at this Sun Outdoors cape may location. we’ll start by saying we were surprised the campsite wasn’t cleaned before our arrival, and we were very disappointment with the size of the campsites, they are so small and everyone is wedged in, its so tight and everyone is on top of each other. We would have liked to see more family amenities and things to do, our experience in the sun outdoors campground in ocean city Maryland was amazing, so we expected a similar experience.also we were very surprised the staff did not enforce quiet time, there were several neighboring sites that were really loud late at night, we could hear loud golf carts at 2a with music blasting and young teens reckless with gold carts. we understand kids will be kids, we brought our own, but we expected rules and people to respectful of them. Obviously the location is great as you’re close to Cape May and all the nearby sites to see. However, overall our family and Family friends that we traveled with were not impressed with this campsite at all and will most likely not return, We have stayed in much more welcoming campsites for far less money and never asked to pay additional lock fees which we still don't understand since everyone was absolutely on top of each other.

We went for the BCMF and were told there was a shuttle that ran every hour. It was not disclosed to us that there was limited sitting and first come first serve. We paid for this shuttle AND ending up having to use uber. I went the office 2 times to talk to the manager whom wasn’t available. I called their office and left her a message and she never called me back. I also called corporate and was transferred to a corporate managers voicemail and didn’t receive a call back

The campground itself was nice and very family-friendly. However, the staff experience left something to be desired. We arrived early, not realizing the office didn't open until 9 a.m. When we called the after-hours phone for some direction on how to proceed with early check-in, we were told office doesnt open till 9am rather rude. While we understand that early arrivals can be tricky, we didn’t mean to cause any inconvenience—we were simply trying to figure out the best way to check in. A little more understanding or guidance in that moment would have gone a long way, specially since the person checking us in made sure we new we woke up the manager and she wasn't happy specially since she had been out late driving guest back and forth from an event.

If your camper has a bathroom, this is a great place to stay. We were able to easily explore the shops of Cape May and the free beaches of Wildwood. However, if you need to use a bathroom, I would not recommend. The toilets were constantly clogged. For 24 hours there was no hand soap. After I complained twice (several hours apart) there was soap but then no toilet paper in the one working toilet (my 3rd complaint) in the main bathhouse. Some people in our party started driving to Wawa to use the bathroom. We’ve stayed at many campgrounds. This is the first time I’ve ever not seen the bathrooms cleaned. I had higher expectations for camping at this price point. The staff was friendly. And the site accommodated our popup and 2 cars with plenty of room. The hot tub was a nice option on a chilly day.

This is a campground- very nice sites, level, tall trees everywhere for shade. Nice showers, laundry, pay by card only for washer/dryers. Bathhouse 3 is nice individual restrooms/ shower. Nice camp store , very nice helpful staff

Campers that need a dump station beware cause there is none. Grounds were clean and quiet. Bathroom shower good but toilets too small your face hits the door. Overall seems like the regulars love this place. I however will not return.

Nice campground near all the beaches, small store with things you might need.

We stayed in mid-October over a weekend. We will not be back. They refused to tell us where our campsite would be. We made our reservations 2 months prior. They did not come around to collect trash. They did not deliver firewood - you have to carry it to your site or drive your vehicle up & back. We realize there were scheduled activities for children and families related to Halloween, and we don’t mind that - it’s cute. The adult noise from partying, however, was way, way too loud. Until well after midnight - probably until at least 2 pm - a crowd of several campsites full of adults was BLASTING music and yelling. We were one street away and were unable to sleep because of it. Utterly inconsiderate of others. We thought they had a “quiet time” rule but if they don’t enforce it there’s no point to it. We have no problem with adults visiting together and having a beer or two. But this was just over the top hard-core adult non-stop partying, not “camping.” We will not be back. The campground was clean and staff were friendly. Those were our two stars.

Spent a week here. Had a great time. They have a beautiful pool. Beautiful clean campground. We stayed in a cabin. The cabins and RV's are very close together. Didn't have a camp fire was very nervous because of how close everything is. I will say they need a parking lot for those who have trouble with walking and maybe can't walk to the pool. All they have is 15 minute parking.

First time being there, I had an awesome time. The people that I met staying there as well were friendly and this place is pet friendly to. The staff were friendly, and helpful. I would come back to Holly Shores Camping Resort again, Hopefully next year I will but stay a few more days longer. I didn't get to experience all that was offered there, that is only why I gave it 4⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice camp ground. We stayed in one of the tiny houses which was very cute and clean. Close to all major sites; beach, zoo, restaurants. Pool is great however it closes at 6pm during the week. That doesn’t give you much time to enjoy it when you have other activities planned for the day. Make sure you bring your own linens, plates, utensils, towels, and pillows.
