Homestead is a quiet campground outside of the East entrance to Yellowstone. It does take a bit of driving to get to certain areas of the park, but the location is excellent. Views of the surrounding area are beautiful, and the campground is close to Cody for exploring. The owner is wonderful and easy to work with. The only negative is that if you have a site on the tree side, you may have to parallel park in between other campers. We did it with a 43' toyhauler, but it can be challenging. We will definately stay here again when we come back to Cody.

This was a nice campground. We stayed here for two weeks while visiting Yellowstone. It’s not the most convenient location for the big things in the park, it is definitely the quiet side. The water pressure was great, and you’re only 30 minutes from Cody, which is a cute town. At least some of the sites are quite slanted. We stayed toward the end of the tree sites and there is a noticeable slope down toward the entrance. Many other people were using stacks of leveling blocks as well, so come prepared! It is a quiet and small campground without laundry facilities, but I found a nice laundromat in Cody. We enjoyed our stay here and the owner was very nice.

We absolutely love it here. It's quite, we have full hookups and the most outstanding views I've ever had at a campground. The owners are just the nicest people and a joy to speak with. It's 30 mi. To the east gate at Yellowstone and 20 mi. from Cody. I wish I could stay all summer. P.S. the water is really good too!

This campground is an excellent distance between Cody and Yellowstone! And I loved the idea of staying on a private property. It has lovely views of the surrounding mountains and neighboring ranches. The campsites are INCREDIBLY close together but this type of campground usually attracts the early to bed-early to rise types. It was very quiet while we were there. The water pressure is poor so you may resort to using your water pump if you have one. There is zero service for some cell phone carriers. Ours being one of them. But I convinced myself (not my husband), that a cell vacation may be just what I needed! The owners are very responsive so if you have trouble booking, like I did, reach out to them by email.

Kids had a blast here! Mule deer walked thru every night, there was a creek the kids could play in, perfect to ride their bikes at! Loved it here and very quiet! Paige (camp mgr) and her dog Emma were super friendly and Paige even gave my kiddos fire charging packets for our bonfire. 🥰 The owners were super friendly and accommodating as well! The views are amazing!!!

Homestead Campground is quietly tucked in between mountain ranges off the East entrance of Yellowstone. It was clean, quiet, cozy and very accommodating. The owner was friendly and recommend things to do locally as well as good routes of travel to our next destination. We have been gone several days but by far was my favorite campground that we have stayed at with our camper and I think of it often. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back one day.
