We were in G15. Great spot, good view of lake. Saw red tailed hawks, Bald Eagles, Golden Eages, buzzards, gophers, monarch butterflies. Pretty quiet, beautiful weather. Fished from shore a little, but no luck. Great bike riding, e or conventional.

Horseshoe Bend campground is comfortable and has a large gazebo we use for our yearly Thanksgiving dinner (a couple weeks early) with a group of friends.

This place would be great in Spring or Late fall, too hot in Summer. RVers are too noisy, choose a spot AWAY from them, they think they own the place. Bathrooms could use some upkeep, but I am glad to have a free hot shower when tent camping. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is our go to summer spot since we live so close. $8 for day use hang out additional for boats and watercraft. Water is beautiful and not too cold at all. The shore area is expansive so plenty of room to set up and hang out. Even park out on the shoreline for added comfort.

Loop H was very cool medium size loop. Nice big covered area to hang out in if needed. Nice restrooms (no showers).Close enough to walk/hike to the water but you can also drive right down to Waters edge.
