Wow, word gets around! After reading the reviews and speaking with people who have stayed there, I'd stay far away. The reputation of the owner alone, is frightening. The management sounds awful, and amenities not being maintained. A 4-minute shower?? Lots of people are leaving the site this summer. Perhaps the owners will realize that they have to respect their patrons more, once they see the lost revenue from people not renewing their leases.

Too bad - the property is nice enough but the owners are very rude and unpleasant. We were packing up our stuff and got a crusty call from the office that we were late to check out at 11:19. Not a "you guys know that you were supposed to leave at 11 right?" nope. A "you are late to check out! get out!" AND a $15 "late checkout" fee. Seriously? We left the site cleaner than we found it, and were 95% packed up and ready to go when we got aggressively kicked out. Never going back there. Lovely property but the grumpy and aggressive vibe from the owners ruined the experience.

Complete honest review This campground has so much potential, nice little beach area, great water, nice sites. However if the owner (Steve) doesnt step back and let someone else run it , it will be gone. We tripped our breaker, my wife walked up to the front office at 1030am and inquired, office lady said nothing she can do as she doesn’t know where breakers are located and Steve is still upstairs sleeping. 1.5hr Steve comes tearing into our campsite (still without power) and starts aggressively giving us shit for abusing the power and stripping the breaker. He then takes off which we assumed was to go flip the breaker. 1hr later our site still without power, my wife walks up to the front office to inquire, in which Steve starts yelling at her, again lecturing her about abusing the power, and screaming that he will get to the breaker on his time. My wife politely says that it’s unacceptable, and can’t believe this is how he talks to his customers. Then proceeds to close the office door on her and lock her out telling her to get out. Terrible experience, from a place that we’ve stayed at before.

Absolutely gorgeous place with all the necessary amenities! The camp is very large with lots to explore and enjoy including a sandy beach which is safe for kids. Highly recommend for an unforgettable time!

Had a wonderful camping trip here with my boyfriend over the Canada day long weekend! The campground, beach and site were very well maintained and staff and other campers were super friendly - it was so nice meeting the owners/regulars. The park was very quiet for sleeping as well. Spent a good chunk of time out on the lake in our kayak, which had lots of great spots to drop a line and fish. My only wish was that there was more water pressure in the showers, but we were still able to clean up regardless. Overall, very satisfied with our stay!
