Caretaker flexibility was great. Fishing was abundant and varied. The room between sites was just right, not crowded at all.

Great utilities, roads, forest, trails, stars, peaceful. Staff was great. Very impressive electric power supply infrastructure. More history of the old gravel pit operation should be given.

We camped here on Labor Day weekend and truly loved it! The pool was closed - it wasn't really warm enough to swim. The sites were clean and well maintained. We had quite a few seasonals around us and they were all super friendly. The laundry was clean and worked well. There was a live band on Saturday night...pretty good! We honestly can't really understand the horrible reviews here - we thoroughly enjoyed it! The only thing I do wish is that they were able to have a store on the grounds, since it's a distance to town...something just for essentials. Loved this place for quiet and easy, relaxing camping.

We loved this quiet restful location! I love that sites are spread out. Also not just in a row. Beautiful amount of shade! Pool was very enjoyable! A few days of our stay in May, the pool could not be opened because of weather. The lady drove to our site to tell us the pool could be opened today. I asked if she was knocking on every camper door or just mine. She said she saw that we had kids and thought it would be nice for them. I was SO GRATEFUL that she noticed and went out of her way. When we were getting ready to leave on our travel day, I opened the hood to the minivan to check a fluids before starting out on the interstate. The maintenance man just happened to be driving past. He turned around to come back to see if I needed anything or any help. I told him we were just doing regular maintenance check. 👍 It was very thoughtful of him to stop just to check if we did happen to need any help. These are just a few of the little interactions that were ever so positive. Our family loved the quiet rest and reconnect with nature. ❤️

Way overpriced at $80+tax, tiny pool, mini golf and tennis courts are horrific and should be removed from website.all buildings are ancient and disgusting.roads are terrible. Entire campground is neglected.
