My son and I were travelling through Houlton and got a tent site here. Highway was a bit noisey however I always figure for that with ear plugs. The host (owner) was very nice and helped us with a late check in. Then was super nice and helpful when we had trouble with the washer when trying to get a quick load of laundry done next morning before we had to checkout. Thank you so much ! You all are awesome ! If in the area again, I will definitely stay at this campground.

We dropped in last minute in hopes they had vacancy for the night before we crossed back into Canada the next day. Sites are large and well maintained and the campground is well laid out. We were greeted by a smile and after check-in we were escorted right to our campsite. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We had to unexpectedly rearrange travel plans and ended up at the Houlton KOA for just one night passing through. Michelle, the owner, was super friendly and very accommodating with our last minute reservation and late arrival. The place was really nice and we enjoyed walking around the nature trails. The bathrooms were immaculate. Highly recommend this KOA and would definitely stop again in the future.

Michelle, the owner, could not have been more friendly or helpful. She welcomed us warmly, made check-in quick and easy, and brought us to our site. This is a beautiful property, and the landscaping and upkeep is top-notch. Most of the rigs here are very large. There is PLENTY of space at sites (when have you seen that in a review?) Nice playground, bouncy pad, dog park and nature trails. All picnic tables are brand new and easy to clean. Beautiful, large Rec Room with all sorts of games. The pool was not open, as Michelle explained that the company which installed the pool did not do so according to Maine requirements. This is in the process of being resolved. The updated bathrooms were clean. The WIFI was STRONG! We were sorry to leave, and very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Houlton KOA! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel right at home — they are incredibly friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a great experience. Their warm hospitality truly sets this campground apart. The location is phenomenal — nestled in a peaceful, scenic area that offers a perfect mix of nature and convenience. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, clean sites, and plenty of space to relax and unwind. And here's the cherry on top: the WiFi is stellar! Fast, reliable, and perfect for working remotely or streaming after a day of outdoor fun — a rarity for campgrounds. Highly recommend this KOA to anyone passing through or looking for a peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!
