I called ahead to see if there would be a fire ring at the site I booked online. The office staff said there would be, but when we got to our site, the neighbor next door said the fire ring in our site was there’s and promptly dragged it over to their site. The office staff did let us switch sites to one with a fire ring and more shade. So the customer service was pretty decent. The campsite itself was nice and flat with good shade and we had a nice barbecue in the evening. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to stay, but there was no toilet paper in the men’s room.

Had a great time at Homosassa river Sun Retreat, nice and clean and a very comfortable campground, we will be back!
