This place is so close and dear to my heart. It is in the Toiyabe National Forest south of Bridgeport.I have camped here on many occasions and have fell in love with this campground. The campgrounds are pretty much very basic, each one having a bear locker,a picnic table, and a spot for a tent.If you are lucky you might get a campground on the riverside. This campground is absolutely awestrucking. It's basically an huge personal backyard. You can spend hours roaming around in the forests, fishing in the creek, and photographing. The host of the campground is so kind and you can get the free wifi password from him if you ask nicely. There are vault toilets as bathrooms here but they are surprisingly very clean. This campground is a absolute must in this region.

Great little campground right on the creek. Quiet and well kept. Dan was very friendly and engaging. He does a terrific job of making sure the camp is well tended and clean. Will be back next year.

Had such a great time at Honeymoon Flat (lower loop). The host was so sweet and very knowledgeable of the area. The campsite was clean and very peaceful. The restrooms are also really clean and well stocked. Definitely plan on coming back. It's a peaceful camp site with limited spaces so it doesn't get over crowded. We had a few deer hanging out near our tent which was cool. There's bears in the area so the provided bear box was nice. We stored all our food and scented items there.

This is a really nice campground although not a lot of sites. The camp spots are fairly spread out and some of them have a great view. Vault toilets, fire rings, and bear boxes are provided. There is an even, gravel square are for tents. The campground host is very friendly!

Such a beautiful campground. Perfect for stargazing as well. Fresh well drinkable water. The creek was so peaceful and full of water and the camp host is super nice. Highly recommend. We stayed here as we visited yosemite.

Each campsite was clean and large. Flat parking for RVs/vans and a platform for a tent. Lower Honeymoon Flat was right off the road but not too noisy. I believe it had 5 sites, and one was a double site with two parking spaces. Water spigot and put toilets. $20 a night. Quick access to Twin Lakes! Open for the beginning half of October.

Lower Honeymoon Flats has a creek that runs directly behind it. Every camping spot there is only steps away from the creek. The bathrooms were maintained very well. And the each site had plenty of room and shade. Except for sites 12 and 13, these two had NO shade.
