Wow, this place is amazing!! Camping amongst the trees and rivers, staring up at rocky cliffs that stand 1000s of feet above you. It was absolutely gorgeous!! Gave me Yosemite vibes, only nowhere near as crowded. We had just come from Yellowstone and we all agreed Lamoille canyon was even more beautiful 🙌 One of the best camp sites I've ever experienced. Only $19 per night and if you have a National Park pass its only 9.50!

This campground was an oasis in the desert. Beautiful little creek running through the mountains. Quiet area and fun little creek pool to play in by the bridge on hot days. Be very careful on selecting your site. Site 29 said it was big enough for a 36 ft rig and we could not get it in there because the road is overgrown and there are boulders every where and it was on a bend. No water to fill rv’s on site so fill it prior to coming.

I want to hide this gem from everyone! Its incredible views and campground location are perfect for families. The river runs right through the back sides of some sites. Please do clean up after yourselves, dogs and kids to keep it enjoyable for everyone.

This place surpassed all my expectations. While visiting in early June, the creeks were all rushing with running water that gave me a soothing feeling and drowned out any sounds of nearby neighbors. There was still snow on the top of the mountains melting. The campsite and bathroom were clean and nice. The campsite host answered all my questions about the area, and recommended trails. I did not see a single piece of trash while visiting. I highly recommend site number 31 for it's proximity to the creek. I did not get any bug bites. The canyon was beautiful day and night.

Beautiful drive & campground. AS OF AUGUST 2, 2021 THE LAMOILLE SCENIC BYWAY IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY USFS. THERE WERE MULTIPLE MUDSLIDES BELOW THE CAMPGROUND THAT SEVERELY DAMAGED THE ROAD.

This was one of my favorite campgrounds of the dozen and a half we stayed at in the last 2 months. This place has no hookups, but they had potable water and bathrooms (no showers). The creek was adorable and my boys had a great time swimming and playing in it. The best part is how quiet and clean it was. For the most part, the people staying there maintained their areas and respected the surrounding natural area. We walked up the trail that’s located at this campground and it was absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous. I took pictures with my canon camera so I wasn’t able to upload the pictures from our hike, but trust me, it was worth the climb. I would recommend this place to anyone with a medium to small sized camper or RV or anyone tent camping. The attendant/camp host was extremely nice and helpful. It’s also a great place to hike.

Beautiful canyon they and thru!! A must go!! We will be going back to check out more in the area since our kids happen to live in the Spring Creek area.

One of my favorite NV campgrounds. The good: hosted, firewood for sale, all sites relatively close to non-potable water and clean outhouses. Stunning views, stars, 4~ish mile trailhead in campground, wildlife, almost always a breeze, feels safe. However, be aware.... Wind changes direction over course of day and can gust unexpectedly (can kill popup shade tents), generators are allowed to drown out nature, and this is close to a road that is popular with loud pipe and stereo bike types ~ if you are looking to 'get away from it all' without being reminded a few times a day how close you are to civilization, you'll want to look elsewhere.
