I’ve been coming up to Hungry Jack Lodge for a few years now. Super clean, extremely nice/hardworking staff, and they always ensure you have a good time. Family, friends, and dogs are welcome, as long as you can behave:)

There’s no where else I’d rather stay on the Gunflint Trail. We’ve stayed in the campground and one of the king deluxe cabins. The cabin had everything we needed. The people who work there are so kind, and the facilities are great. They are incredibly dog friendly.

Amazing Honeymoon at Hungry Jack Cabin! We enjoyed 5 days fishing, relaxing, hiking, exploring, canoeing, watching football at the bar/restaurant, playing pool & just sitting at the beach breathing in the beauty! My husband used the sauna & even jumped in the lake in September! The staff were attentive & very responsive with all our requests. A huge thank you to the chef for frying up our fresh caught trout for dinner. Well done!

I absolutely love this place. I was there early September and it was beautiful. Sonia and Jerrick were so helpful and nice. The food was delicious and everything was very well kept. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the gunflint, look no further than Hungry Jack Lodge

We camped here a few years ago and had a great experience. Decided to stop by for a cocktail on a recent camping trip to Devil Track. The server downstairs(Sonia) was great! Lots of fun and is excellent at her job!

We ate in the bar/restaurant. The food was excellent. Somehow, whoever designed it thought putting the kitchen and bar on separate levels was a good idea. As a result, the server climbs and descends the stairs 100 times per shift. And she wasn't shy about her frustration with it. She provided prompt but curt service. The location of the lodge is wonderful!

Really good food and friendly staff. Food came out quick for our group of 23.

They seem to have trouble keeping good staff around and I can’t help but think that speaks volumes about their ownership. With so many other places to stay and visit up on the GFT, probably best just to take your business elsewhere! Very disappointing.

Great camping sites. Great staff. Nice beach. Only two things that need attention and some care are the horseshoe pits. And you need horseshoes to throw. We brought our own. Probably the biggest thing that needs attention are the shower house. It is the worst I have ever used. Due to the shower house I have to give a rating of three stars.

Nice clean cabins recently redone. Loved the private dock for swimming. Had lunch at the lodge and really great food and nice people. Fries and Chainsaw pizza I would recommend. We brought a paddle board as hey don't rent those, but beautiful quite lake and they rent canoe and boats. Love the wilderness setting.

We reserved a cabin and were pleasantly surprised at its cleanliness and coziness, as many similar places are often messy and almost derelict. This resort offers great access to the boundary waters, and there are many nearby attractions and hiking trails as well. The area is beautiful and pristine, and every moment looks like a painting. The food at the lodge is great as well, with generous portions and great flavor. Simply put, if you love nature this place is for you!
