Wonderful rustic orv friendly campground

Rustic state camp sights, this place has good sized lots and ORV trails go right into town. Very diverse trails from hard pack to sand and Woops. We even found some mud. DNR is right in town for local maps everything is numbered for mapping your route. Have fun, be safe

I've been camping here for 49 years , over the years there has been several camp hosts , the most 2 recent one's have maintained the grounds and bathrooms spotless , they have provided firewood for a small donation , however the campground supervisor from the National Forest Service is quite a bit of a buzz kill as she has chased several long time campers (families) away with her lack of knowledge of the rules and regulations that are on the website even though she has been a ranger for 38 years

I’ve been camping at Mack Lake for 10+ years. It’s definitely gained popularity with ORVs and is no longer what I would consider a quiet campground. With large groups of ORV users comes the higher likelihood of partying as well (you could apply this across all groups, of course). If you’re looking for a quiet and party free campground, consider looking elsewhere.

Another wonderful time at Mzck Lake. This time we took an inflatable boat to go for a ride on the lake as well as riding the trails. We truly enjoy this campground, and like to go up in the fall versus summer. Not so busy and we had the place to ourselves. We were in a RV so I did not use the restrooms, my husband did and he said they were incredibly clean.

Best campground in the area, so clean and peaceful. Great lake for swimming and fishing. We always visit a couple times each summer.

Awesome campground for ORV riding, one of the cleanest and most well kept primitive campsites I've seen, vault bathrooms leaned daily and smelling fresh, at least half of the campsites are on mack lake My favorite place to stay when I ride bull gap/ Meadows area
