Hy-Land Court RV Park
Overview
Hy-Land Court RV Park offers a peaceful and authentic camping experience in the northern region of Wisconsin’s Door County. This family-owned park focuses on providing a wooded setting that prioritizes natural beauty and quiet relaxation. Unlike high-traffic commercial resorts, this park maintains a spacious layout that allows travelers to enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded. It serves as a reliable and well-maintained basecamp for those looking to explore the scenic peninsula at a slower pace.
Location & Surroundings
The park is situated in Ellison Bay, a charming village known for its rugged shoreline and artistic community. Located directly off Highway 42, the property is easy to access while remaining buffered by mature trees that create a secluded atmosphere. Guests are positioned at the northern end of the peninsula, placing them near dramatic limestone bluffs and the pristine waters of Green Bay. The surroundings are characterized by quiet backroads and a distinct lack of heavy tourist traffic.
Amenities & Park Features
The facility provides essential comforts to ensure a seamless stay for modern travelers. Most sites offer full hookups with 30 and 50-amp electrical service, catering to everything from camper vans to large motorhomes. The park features wide pull-through sites that simplify the setup process for those with longer rigs. On-site amenities include clean restroom and shower facilities, a laundry room, and a playground. For evening relaxation, the park provides fire rings and sells both ice and firewood to guests.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Visitors are just minutes away from Newport State Park, which is famous for its hiking trails and its status as a designated International Dark Sky Park. For a unique day trip, the North Port Pier is a short drive away, offering ferry service to Washington Island. Ellison Bay itself is home to iconic local spots like the Clearing Folk School and various cideries. Outdoor enthusiasts will find ample opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and sunset viewing at the nearby Ellison Bay Beach.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an excellent choice for travelers who prefer a quiet, rustic atmosphere over a busy resort environment. It is particularly well-suited for nature photographers and stargazers who want proximity to the peninsula’s wilder landscapes. Because of its spacious, level sites, it is also highly recommended for big-rig owners who want a forest-like setting without the navigation difficulties often found in older state park campgrounds.

BEST RV PARK IN DOOR COUNTY! Beautiful, clean, spacious sites. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect location between Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. Short drive to parks, markets, restaurants, attractions, and the Washington Island Ferry. Worth every bit of the 1,400 mile trip we made to stay there… wish we never had to leave!

Great place to stay while exploring Door Country! Beautiful camp sites, clean facilities, friendly and accommodating staff, centrally located. One of nicer campgrounds we’ve stayed at during our four month tour of central USA. Definitely would go back and highly recommend staying there. Thanks, the Langs
