When first got here I hated it it looked like a dump. Not use to this type of camping. After a month here grass was over knee high I borrowed a mower old style no motor push blade and went over it a dozen times in this heat. Still high grass! So I pulled it up by hand. Decide to go buy my own electric weed eater took an hour or so on this tiny camp site. Next day the maintenance man finally came around and done some mowing and weed eating now they place is finely looking like a real campground instead of a backwoods. Not being too negative everyone I’ve met is really nice and floating the same boat . Same complaints. Owner needs to do some up dates that lives in California! Stars are 4 now was a one star. They has tent sites cabins and RV sites RIGHT OF I 40 if you need a break on your travels come on by for a night or two or week have showers and laundry house nice and quiet here animal friendly on leash.

Nothing special here. In fact, a little rough around the edges. If you have a Prima Donna rig or attitude this may not be the place for you. But for $40 FH!!! ... Older park. 20-25 spots, half filled by full timers/traveling workers. Very tidy and clean. I believe all spots are back-in. We were greeted by Sonya to check in, about 10pm. This was after a rough rving day where I couldn't even make a reservation until 8:30pm. She was so sweet and kind. A no nonsense country girl who knows how to get thing done. When we asked what time was check out, she said, "You've had a long day, leave when you want." Our savior! We will be back! Oh yeah, right down the street from a marina on the TN River.

We were on the road and needed some sleep! So we pulled into this campground, and slept. They were closed, but Sonia came down and let us park there for the night. I would definitely recommend staying here, reasonably priced and nice and quiet! It’s close to getting off the highway, and back on the highway!

So kind Stuff. Sonia and Belinda were so helpful and comprehensive with some last minute issues we had to handle The place is Beautiful, quiet and pretty spacious. Bathrooms super clean, I got a nice good hot shower before jeep our journey and great spot to cook
