I-65 RV Campground

I-65 RV Campground is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any campground. The owners are incredibly rude and unprofessional yelling and cussing at guests like it’s part of the service. The wife, in particular, is unbelievably hostile and trashy in how she treats people. The entire place smells horrible, like sewage and stale garbage, and the roads are full of potholes and gravel ruts that will do a number on your rig. It’s so close to the highway that the noise is nonstop forget about getting any rest. You might as well sleep in a truck stop. Worst of all, it does not feel safe. There’s no sense of security, no staff presence that makes you feel welcome, and the whole vibe is tense and sketchy. Save yourself the stress, money, and damage to your sanity go literally anywhere else.

I had a horrible experience here, mainly due to the owner. They were incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. When we had a minor issue with our site, they were completely dismissive and acted like we were bothering them. It felt like they cared more about taking our money than providing a decent camping experience. The whole place seemed poorly managed, and it's clear that the owner's attitude set the tone. I definitely won't be returning.

It really upsets me to see reviews from people that are absolutely not true! I have lived at 165 RV Campground for over a year. We stay here because we love it here! If we were unhappy, we would leave!! I don't understand the rude reviews from people who are STILL STAYING HERE!! If it is so bad for you to live here, then leave! These people make up fake names to write these untrue reviews!! The managers live on the property and are always a phone call away! We have monthly cookouts and EVERYONE is invited. I know this because I helped the manager take flyers to EVERY SINGLE RV, so everyone here would know about the cookouts. The review that says "only the privileged people are invited" is a total lie! I know this for a fact because I delivered the invitations. We are trying to be a little community here so if you don't want to be a part of it, move on, instead of trying to hide behind a review under a fake name! We have brand new washers and dryers, a fire pit if ANYONE would like to use it. Mrs. Tina is planning a bingo night and a craft night for ANYONE who would like to come. There is NO OTHER RV PLACE THAT DOES ANYTHING FOR THEIR TENANTS. I just feel people should tell the truth because it's not fair to the managers and the business owners.

We lived here for over a year. Moved from site to site until we got on a half way decent site. My husband helped him out last year when he had to have surgery on his foot, cleaned up and raked sites used the tractor to remove leaves. And helped out after that, when water spikets would break, and the campground would be without water until one was fixed. In order to fix one they have to turn the water off to the whole campground, ( makes no sense, each one should have a turn off) . I will say we have been on 3 different sites and everytime it would rain when you touched anything metal on the camper it would shock you, EVEN THE STEPS, we tried everything. Our dog was scared to go in or out when it rained. He was getting shocked going up and down the stairs. The laundry area just started getting new washers and dryers 3 weeks ago before that the only thing I would even think about washing in them was rugs definitely not our clothes!!! The roads are horrible either huge pot wholes or mounds where he has tried to fix them! They did build a new pavilion the past month and a fire pit area, but that's only for the privilege people 😂. We lived here for over a year and started out good with both of them running the place, for the owner until my husband was to busy to help out anymore (for free mind you). And I told him no more helping and borrowing your tools out! My husband has moved 2 camper's for people who live here because tree limbs have fallen on them, and he was asked by the man running the place to do it. ( We have pictures) Also have plenty of video and pictures of helping them out. And also of him with the tractor bucket above my husband's motorcycle,(thinking he was being cute) ! NOT CUTE! I have personally witnessed him harass other's also. They advertise free wifi and cable well good luck! Even after the " fiber optics were put in" 🤣🤣 Definitely not the best place to stay, and especially if you have children! There are people dropped off who run around like they are under the influence, and nothing is done about it, UNLESS you have it on camera, they can't help you! There were multiple times I would call and tell them, and the only response was the police can't do anything unless you can record them. Well okay! So I put cameras up ! Not a good place at all , it could be much better! Would just really like to talk to the actual investor who owns it . I also have plenty of pictures and video of everything I have mentioned, and much more!

We have lived here for a year and we love it! The managers work really hard to keep this Campground looking good. They have put down rocks in the pot holes. The make sure the laundry room and bathhouse is clean. They have been cutting the grass, weed eating and blowing to make sure we have a nice place to live that looks nice. If you need anything, you can message them and they will help you with anything that you need. We love staying here. We have stayed at other places but this is by far our favorite!

This campground is run by management that harasses its tenants, does not upkeep the property, and simply does not care about the safety and wellbeing of its guests. If you want to blow a tire, bend a rim, or even break an axle then this is perfect for you with their top tier pot holes that look like they are mining for gold. Maybe you want to see nature first hand inside your camper, well with the leaning and hanging dead limbs and branches on trees that are way too close to campers, you can have a front row seat when they come through your camper or even better land on top of it. You can also experience a nice jolt in the morning before work with a shock from who knows where when you touch any metal on your camper that comes and goes depending on who “fixed” it last. And that’s not just one camper but multiple that experience this shock. You want WiFi? Well sorry to say you will only be enjoying it on your dime or the nice noises from nature since they state there is wifi, but there really isn’t any. The management does not own this property, but good luck contacting or finding the owner to actually address the issues. That’s just a small list of what is wrong here.

If class b slasher movie is your thing, this would be a perfect place for you to stay. Between the potholes and speed bumps my mocktail was shaken not stirred. There was no one there to check me in. I drove around the park twice and sat at the office for at least 30 minutes. There were no public picknick tables. No propane fill as shown in pictures. It was not maintained as the gutters were falling off the office. I didn’t stay. I hit the road and didn’t look back. No thank you.

The lady at the office was nice, really helpful. But the maintenance guy is bad business. Came and yelled at us for speeding, which is hard to believe considering we was cruising around looking at spots. But that's here nor there. He could have been a lot more pleasant about it. Because Ik for a fact there wasn't any unreasonable speeding by myself. And when I said that, he said "I can already tell yalls are going to be triuble" not a good first impression at all

Helped some friends set up. Good looking grounds, lots of trees and clean. IDK about amenities, but I will say that they could use directional signs. Make the paths one-way and, if they will, level the main paths so no one bottoms out.

We stayed at the I-65 rv pack for over 4 and a half months and can't say enough about Tina and how she runs things. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and friendly people in the park. We would always stay there over any other park around here.

This is an excellent campground for anyone who is looking for a budget-friendly family-oriented place to stay. I spent about 3 months here and am very pleased with the quality of the campground and the attitude of the staff. They do have bathrooms and showers available as well as a small laundry room. Other than the obvious noise from the interstate, it is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay, be it for a couple of nights or for a long-term stay. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone in the Mobile area looking for a rustic getaway. Also, would like to note that there are pull-through spots available for people who are uncomfortable backing into a lot.

Great place to stop overnight. Pretty full but very quiet. Laundry open 24 hours.
