Our stay at Thousand Trails was a spontaneous detour that added beautifully to our little adventure. We arrived on a whim, without a reservation and were greeted before we even reached the stairs by Chris and Matthew, who welcomed us with beautiful smiles and genuine hospitality. Their kindness set the tone for the whole experience; effortless, accommodating, and full of heart. Though our visit was just for the night, the park felt wonderfully cared for. It was clean, peaceful, and clearly tended to with pride and care. Our campsite was a generous size and close to the restrooms. Navigating the park in the dark was a bit of an interesting challenge (the space signs could use a little extra glow and display) however, with a map and a sense of adventure, we found our way after one scenic route around the park. Thousand Trails, you made a spontaneous getaway feel like a weekend retreat, with the level of hospitality and care from the moment of arrival. Thank you so very much. The next visit will be for more than one night.

This park is beautiful. Having said that if you have anything bigger than 25 feet you are in for a rude awakening. The road coming in is very tight and the park is just as tight. There needs to be a large amount of road and site work done to make the park more accessible. We have a 29 foot fifth wheel and did damage the truck backing in due to incline of the site. I have to say if I still owned my tent trailer that I had 25 years ago this would be my favorite park.

My family and I went over the weekend and stayed at this campground. The staff is super friendly and the rooms were clean. We will definitely be booking another day here soon. Thank you so much to all the staff for making us food at home we truly appreciate it. 🙏🏼

Beautiful spot up in the San Jacinto Mountains with a nice little fishing spot on the campground. Cool place and we live locally and still try and come every so often. We stayed in the cabins because we’re doing some renovations on our RV this year and they’re pretty nice. Kinda small but has everything that you could need while out camping.

We did a campground and loved it, you are surrounded by beautiful Jeffrey pines, incense cedars, manzanitas and canyon live oaks! When you step outside you smell the beautiful maple syrup/ vanilla fragrance from the Jeffrey pines. The staff is amazing and our experience was awesome. My wife and I loved it and our toddlers had lots of fun. Every camper we talked to was cool and also loved it. Bathrooms, pools, showers, trails were all super clean and everything was family friendly. Location is great and just a few minutes from the town. We will be going back soon and we are going to be getting the membership. I want to give a BIG THANKS to John, Bill and Chris! See you guys soon!

Beautiful, picturesque... Can be tough to navigate around in bad weather and hilly. Very empty and quiet.

This place is my favorite Thousand Trails location so far. I have been up there many times and always have a pleasant experience. The customer service this last weekend exceeded my expectations, even though they are incredibly high given my previous experiences here. Arron went above and beyond. Thank you!

This is a big park withots of sites. Not too many with full hook up. Some roads are small and beat up but the park had tons of trails and adventure. Pool closed for the season, staff super friends, lodge great. Good wifi and cel coverage all over. We have a 32 ft bu.per pull trailer and stayed in the 200 section.

We needed to eat quick and went to Pine Cove Cafe inside Idlewild pine resort. Food was good. The surroundings were nostalgic. Had an old time feel to it.

I am a lifetime member of thousand trails. For a great deal I can be out in nature ¾ of the year at any of the parks nationwide. They offer fishing, trails in abundance, stables, horseshoe pit, volleyball, laundry rooms, showers, a pool, game room in the lodge, a market and a Cafe. Friendliest people you'll ever come across. Cleanest place I've seen. Especially bathrooms. Which are heated BTW. Courteous and helpful campers for sure. And all found nestled in the most gorgeous mountains around, near Idyllwild Ca.
