We loved it there! Stayed for 4 Nights to explore the area. The sites and vault toilettes are very clean. The campground hosts are amazing and really make the difference. Very friendly and supplied us with Lots of tipps where to go. We ha a terrific stay.

The older gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and full of great information about the park. The vault toilets were the cleanest vault toilets I’ve ever used.

The only thing that prevents this from 5 stars is because I had zero sun for solar (normally okay if I can charge my battery some other way) and they didn't allow generators to even heat a meal. I had to leave a day early because I had no longer had power.

Welcome to Indian Creek campground!! This campground was fantastic. The site was large and surrounded by trees. The site was level and had many spots for tents as well as more than enough room for a very large vehicle/trailer. We were close to the restrooms (vault/pit toilet) and water supply. The restrooms were 7/10 clean but hand sanitizer was available. The camp hosts were very kind and extremely helpful to us. They provided us with maps and day hikes in the area. Check in was between 10AM and 10PM and check out was 10AM the next day. Bear boxes are provided, or you can keep your food in a hardsided vehicle. Despite the campsite being completely full, the campground was very quiet and no one disturbed us during our stay. We booked through Recreation.gov about a week before the trip and the price was very very affordable. I loved this campsite! One downside is that the dumpsters are a walk from the campsites and you must dispose of your garbage to prevent bears from getting to it. When cleaning dishes, water with food particles must be disposed in the vault toilet. We didn’t see any wildlife other than an abundance of ground squirrels. Extremely convenient location. You are so close to many hikes and of course viewpoints and geothermal areas. We did not have service at this campsite but when we drove up to Mammoth Springs we did, which is also where we found water filling stations.

It's a great camp site. They are pretty close together, so if you get people next to you who are not considerate of that late at night, you hear everything. Has everything you need. I understand why the sites are so close that you want to have as many available spots as possible and also probably help with wildlife staying away. Great camp grounds, was our first time staying in yellowstone. Would do it again, but I also want to try out other locations.

Rangers and park hosts were very nice and there are pullthroughs for 30+ foot rigs. Many spots were first come first served and available.

Great place in the north area of the park but still a great location. My favorite part was the fellow campers. My firewood was stolen but fellow campers brought me more and even lit it for me (my foot is broken so I probably looked pretty pathetic 😉). We all had a nice evening of conversation. Loved it! I hope I get to see them again someday.

Great campground. Check in process was smooth and easy compared to other first come first serve campgrounds I have been too. Not much privacy in the sites. Bathrooms (pit toilets) were okay - not the worst but not the best. The camp staff were all super nice !

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. The sites had fairly nice bathrooms. Clean but a bit smelly. One day the soap dispenser ran out but was full the next day. Buffalo & deer in our camp site. Bears down by the stream. All fantastic! Nice cold clean water by site. Definitely would stay again. Oh, the camp is very vigilant about beast safety with good reason. A pretty stream. 5 miles by camp to play in. It is a day use area. Nice place to wade in and cool off. Fly Fishing also here too.
