A great RV Park that is quiet and friendly. Bob the host was extremely nice and helpful. The sites were very nice and it was great to have full hookup. The campground is located near many restaurants and the Martinsville Race Track, however you would not know it as you drive down to the campground on its own little road. We don’t own a pet but it is very pet friendly as we saw many walking their dogs. Go see them on your next camping adventure in Martinsville, Va.

This was our first trip with our new camper, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had a bit of a mix-up when booking our spot, accidentally selecting a 30-amp hookup instead of 50-amp, but the staff at the front office was incredibly helpful. The lady we worked with went above and beyond to switch our spot without any hassle. Bob, the camp host, was also super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We met a lot of people during our stay, and everyone we interacted with was so welcoming and kind. It’s a pet-friendly campground with beautiful river access, which was perfect ! One of the best times was when Anthony invited us to join his campfire party ,great hospitality all around! We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a peaceful, friendly, and well-run spot to stay!

This campsite is located in Martinsville, Va. It is peaceful, affordable and clean. The sites are spacious and level. The camp host Bob is awesome. We came in late afternoon on a Sunday and he met us and took us right to our site. We’re somewhat new to backing in so he helped out with a little direction. Our site backed up right at the river and had a gorgeous view. There is a canoe/kayak put in at the end of the park. The sites closest to the put in have quite a bit of shade. The bathhouse is one of the cleanest we’ve seen with plenty of room. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance and plenty of other things to do close by. We really enjoyed our stay.

Due to major work being done on our house in Martinsville, we knew we wouldn't have a working sewer or water for a few days. We have never stayed at this campground before, but it has been such a blessing and a wonderful, convenient place for us to stay! We are close enough to home to keep up with some of our necessary daily activities, yet we are staying in a quiet and peaceful location. The grounds are very well-kept, and all of the other campers have been quiet and polite. The staff have been very helpful and friendly also! We highly recommend Indian Heritage RV Park!

We loved Indian Heritage RV Park. It is nestled just off the grid enough where it’s comfortable and quiet, yet still many convenient stores in very close distance for little things you may need or forgot. The park is located less than 2 miles from Martinsville Speedway if you’re planning on attending the race. Beautiful view of the Smith River as well, especially this time of year with the leaves changing. Our camp host Bob was very kind and accommodating. Lots of kind souls and dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

Nice quiet campground tucked away next to a river. We stayed here for one night prior to load in date for spring race at Martinsville Speedway. Check in was very easy. Office is tucked away in between some other buildings, so you will need to pay close attention for the sign on the right as you're driving down the access road. Site was very level, had a huge concrete pad and brand new picnic tables. Hook-ups were well placed allowing for easy back in and everything was centrally located. Seems like a nice spot to stay if you're in the area and want to explore near by sites.

Stayed here while my newly inherited home on Smith Mountain was being renovated. Park is well maintained and conveniently located near the main NC/VA highway so my treatments @ Baptist was a straight shot, yet it was also far enough away from the road so as it wasn't distracting! I no longer drive and fiance has only a learner's but everything you needs @ walking distance. Places within only a few yards yet far enough away so as to not take away from the ambience of the park include: a movie theater, Food Lion, Planet Fitness, CVS, Walgreens, Big Lots, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Rural King, an Urgent Care, several barber shops/beauty parlors, 2 tobacco shops, 2 Mexican Groceries, Chinese, Italian and Seafood restaurants, KFC, Subway, McDonald's, Advance Auto, Carter Bank, An automatic and self service car wash and so much more! What else could you possibly need? Highly recommend

Very fortunate to find a place as nice and accommodating to people that travel and work. Very friendly. I can't say enough good things so far.

So many things to love here. Michele in the office-clearly loves her job and people-couldn’t be nicer. Nice sized site, pull-through & full hookups (no cable.) Sod (not standard grass!) plastic picnic table, personal garbage can and patio. When I asked if I could buy firewood I was told they provided it-(really?!) Go straight to the wood pile and get yourself a wheelbarrow! Fly fishing off property-small large mouth bass & small rainbow trout! Could hear the big race at Martinsville speedway a few miles away. Best $40 (with good Sam card) we have ever spent at a campground. Beautifully done, next time we will try for a River front site.
