A beautiful place to enjoy with the family and revel in the tranquility and peace of nature. It's ideal for sharing with children due to its calm waters. There are places to grill meat. The entrance fee is affordable. Don't forget to leave the place clean.

Whomever the blonde is in the office is the rudest lady we have meet in 10 years on the road. Like lady if you hate your job that much leave. We didn't stay after just 5 minute interaction with her. The ranger out front awesome her no. Please do everyone a favor and get something you need it BAD.

Cleaning up pix on my phone - taken Nov 18, 2021: This 275-acre park in Suffolk county is lovely but probably/mostly for campers – upon entering, we encounter a few large RVs. It has a few trails. The park is at the split of the North Fork, a peninsular on the Peconic River. We parked by the Indian Island (east most point) off Meetinghouse Creek. In fact, you can drive around the park pretty freely, includes the Indian Island. There are a group of white swans bathing/cleaning. One of them maybe on the look out for a wife – grooming himself religiously.

Very large hiking area with very wide trails. People camp here as it is a Green Key County Park. My favorite location is the peninsula surrounded by the bay that has parking and picnic tables. A quiet relaxing place to watch the sunset and the birds.

They have a separate youth camping area. Nice playground. CLEAN BATHROOMS. Trails. Water access. Trailer areas. Suggest you book a month in advance. Rangers will check for problems.

This place is nice for camping, and has a nice beach area which is unfortunately packed on most weekends. Overall pretty nice. Fishing is never great though

Awesome place for the family, lovely clean beach, loved our camp lot, the ice cream truck came by, it's not far from stores! I can't wait to go back, we had so much fun

Beautiful beach and trail walk today at Indian Island. This park is serene and rarely crowded. It has a ton of amenities for campers and day visitors alike, including camp grounds, picnic areas, pavilions, grills, and well-maintained restroom facilities.
