We came here for our anniversary weekend. E brought a 27 foot camper and were placed on a buddy lot 149-150 and it was just us. We had a quiet spot, and the sound of cows when we arrived. Our neighbors camping were Amish or Mennonite and helped with a homemade fire starter for our fire as we forgot to bring lighter fluid. We went into Shipshewana for the afternoon to browse shops and grab some local foods. The staff was friendly when we arrived and when we came and went. The prices were higher than we have paid, but for full hook up it is expected. We put our kayaks on and enjoyed time on three lakes that connected. We ate out nearby one night, and the ease of coming and going was not an issue. You pay to get a card to let you back on, but it’s refunded when you return it upon departure. My husband and I came here for our anniversary weekend , and it was just what we needed. They are very strict about the speed limit, so be ready to take life slow!

Great place to camp but not when they OVER CHARGE you. Check your credit card and your lot charges to make sure they do not charge you twice or charge you for days you weren’t even there. The staff and owner - yes owner - do not care that they charged us twice and then wasted two hours of our vacation to resolve hundreds in over changes by multiple - not one but multiple - incompetent staff. We liked it so much we considered renting a lot for the season but will not rent a lot when we are overcharged significantly and no one even cares. If you want customer service don’t come here… I hope they won’t do this to others but they will so check your credit card and lot charges to ensure they are correct if you do camp here.

First off I dont regret coming here. It was a decent place. Friendly helpful staff and a overall good environment. The pricing and fees is overboard though. We rented a very expensive cabin which the bed was horrible. I personally have never had a mattress hurt me the way this did. Severely pulled a muscle in my chest while sleeping and am on the 3rd day of nonstop pain. The pontoon we rented was over 600 for 1.5 days. The quality of the boat was low for the price. And the life jackets were unuseable as they had mold and smelled terrible so the kids rode with none. There half day is 6 hours when a a day is 24 hrs so im not sure where the 1/2 is. As stated the place is nice and we have been bouncing around once a year to find a place we can be at permanently. Will definitely keep an eye on prices here because I wouldn't mind coming back but not with the rates now. We will continue our journey and hope the best for indian lakes.

Great place to camp! Clean! Nice lots with full hook-ups. General store on the grounds. Big selection of hand dipped ice cream! Hot coffee! Free family bingo on Saturday nights! Big enclosed swimming pool!

We visited this campground before booking a family camp, 6 trailers. We have two pontoon boats so we asked about the low bridge to access the other lakes, the young lady that helped us said she has lived there her entire life and never had an issue getting a boat under the bridge. Well boat of our boats would not fit under the bridge. Bummer after renting a boat dock for the week. The roads are narrow and covered with horse do do. The heater pool was nice, full hookup was nice and group camp sites were spacious. We did catch a couple bass, released them back to get bigger.

We we went up for the weekend with friends and the people around us made it so terrible that we ended up leaving. Would not recommend going here if you wanted to relax for a weekend.

Very nice campgrounds, clean, well maintained, camp store had anything you needed. Friendly people running counter. Would recommend this campgrounds to anyone.

First time as overnight campers at Indian Lakes. Very nice campground, lots to do, nice beach, great pool. Bathrooms were clean but a rather long walk. Only other toilets close to most campsites were port-a- John. Great amount of snacks and food available at the store along with other items. Had a nice time playing games in the evening. Not the campgrounds fault but we had a rather strong oder of cow and horse manure blowing in at night from next door. Would have given 5 stars but the overnight noise was bad. Campsite 228 or 226 was playing very loud music until midnight (quiet time is suppose to start at 10) and there was 2 golf carts filled with teenagers cruising around until 0130 stoping out in front of our site talking and laughing loudly and very bad language. I ended up shining the flashlight at them and telling the to move on. Basically, there doesn't seem to be enforcement of noise at night. Will likely try again as all else was nice.

Nice campground. Well kept. Beautiful lake my kids had fun swimming and fishing. Heated pool was nice. Rented a boat on the five lakes. Nice prices in camp store. Really good ice cream! Had a nice time.
