Friendly staff and great trails. We brought our 43 foot fifth wheel to the campground at a back in site and parked without issues. Only complaint is there isn't water at the dump site to fill your tank as you dump, so that took a lot longer than we had anticipated. Showers were clean and water was hot, $1 for 5 minutes

Campground is very closed to the Red Rock Amphitheater and easy to access. I booked it last minute and staff was helpful on the phone and assigned us to #14. It is close to the restroom but with enough distance to not feel the traffic. Restroom and shower are both very clean and spacious. $1 of quarters for nice hot shower and $40 for camping for a night. Only thing is there’s no shade on the campground and sites are pretty close to one another without much privacy.

Seemed like a fun place to camp that I didn’t have time to fully enjoy. Clean and quiet. There is no shade or privacy (trees) in the campground. Bring your own shade structures. Showers are spacious, clean, and warm. They are $1 in quarters for 5 min. There’s a change machine on the other side of the building from the showers… For some reason the visitor center didn’t offer this info when we were hunting for change, they told us to drive into Morrison to use an atm? Lol S/o the ranger who helped us figure it out. I’d suggest maybe a sign to let (dumb) folks (like me) know the change machine is on the other side of the building. I can’t be the only one… (right?) The main entrance gate closes at 10pm. It is right off a main highway, so this offers a sense of safety. The after hours entrance was difficult to find after being directed to leave a certain direction from red rocks lot and losing my marbles at tipper. You won’t have that problem tho bc he’s retired now.

Have you ever found a place so wonderful that you felt like it was a hidden gem or a best kept secret? That is exactly what our experience was like here. So close to red rocks it is an excellent location. The staff are all so helpful and kind. The entire property is clean and well cared for. The layout is as perfect for a camer/RV as it is for tent camping.

This campground has large and level spaces. The park is very clean and the park rangers are always around and very nice. We felt very safe here. There are miles, many miles, of hiking and biking trails. We loved this park and will definitely visit again.

Pros-Nice, safe, well spaced, reasonably priced, great location to access the best of what Denver area has to offer. Beautiful park, and lots of activities within the facility to entertain! Cons- no shade, wind, Bandemere racing sounds. Don’t pass up this chance to camp at this location!

Nice local campground great for getting away for a quick, easy trip. The electrical hookups are nice, the sites are well maintained, the restrooms are always clean and the playground is great for kids. We love to take the trails around for exploring. There isn't much in the way of shade at the sites, so definitely bring your own, but the views when the sun comes up or goes down are gorgeous. Big Soda Lake is great when it's not crowded. Sometimes it gets so busy you can't even see the lake from the shore, skip it then. You can also go horseback riding at the stables here too. The quick one hour tour was great! We also really like the archery range. Lots to do here depending on what you're interested in!
