Indian Ranch
Overview
Indian Ranch is a unique destination in Webster, Massachusetts, blending a storied musical history with a scenic lakeside setting. Located on the shores of the famously named Lake Chaubunagungamaug, this park is more than just a place to park an RV; it is a legendary entertainment hub. For decades, it has hosted renowned country and rock performers, offering guests the rare opportunity to combine a camping trip with high-quality live music performances right on the grounds. The atmosphere is vibrant and nostalgic, making it a staple of the New England summer circuit.
Location & Surroundings
The park is situated in Central Massachusetts, providing easy access for travelers coming from Worcester, Boston, or Providence. Its primary draw is the direct waterfront access to Webster Lake, one of the region’s largest and most beautiful bodies of water. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills and dense New England forests. Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the shoreline, which offers a refreshing and peaceful escape during the week when the concert stage is quiet.
Amenities & Park Features
The RV park features sites equipped with full hookups, including water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electricity to accommodate various rig sizes. One of the standout features is the private sandy beach area, which is perfect for swimming. The facility also offers:
- Boat slips and dockage for those bringing their own watercraft.
- On-site dining at Samuel Slater’s Restaurant and the Indian Princess paddleboat.
- Clean restroom facilities and convenient laundry services.
- A playground and dedicated pet areas for family-friendly travel.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the music venue, the area is rich with outdoor recreation. Travelers often explore Douglas State Forest, which offers miles of wooded hiking and mountain biking trails. For those interested in regional history, Old Sturbridge Village is a short drive away, featuring a massive living history museum that recreates life in the 1830s. The lake itself remains a focal point for fishing and kayaking, while the nearby town of Webster provides local boutique shopping and diverse dining options.
Who This Park Is Best For
Indian Ranch is the perfect fit for music lovers who want to enjoy a show and stay just steps away from the stage. It is also an excellent choice for families seeking a classic lakeside vacation with plenty of activity and water access. Because of its popular event schedule and concert series, it is best suited for social RVers who enjoy a lively, community-focused environment rather than those seeking total solitude in the wilderness.

Had great day with friends and great music 🎶... can't wait until country fest next summer..

I really like this venue. Fun, clean, friendly. The concessions are a bit pricey but better taste than your typical concert food. The outdoor stage and viewing arena feel big but also like a small club show at the same time. You must check out an evening performance by the lake. Very unique place and a must visit venue for summer concerts.

Always a great venue to catch a concert. Pretty easy in and out before and after event. Not a bad seat in the house!
