Our favorite Northwood campground. Nice big sites. Nice amenities. Well kept property. They do serve pizza at the bar. It would be nice if they would start serving more food options again. They have a nice indoor eating area and outdoor deck which both overlook the lake. Would love to enjoy it more while having a Fish Fry, burger or chicken dinner. :)

For this area, it is the best choice for all ages, however, especially suitable for younger families. The restaurant is no longer in operation; however, the bar offers limited service on weekends. They have daily trash pickup and keep the park in clean conditions. The staff is friendly and attentive. Pricing is normal for the area

What a GEM we found in this campground!!! We were blown away by how nice everything was, how wooded and can be very private sites in certain areas. Bathroom facilities were nice and clean. The restaurant is really nice but limited in food (serve pizza and hot dogs only). It looked like guests were having a good time in there. They have a good selection in their store. Firewood is $7.50 a bundle, and they have ice to purchase, too. The Wifi, you have to pay extra for the service and you'll need it to get anything to work!!! Beach is really nice and spacious, several fishing docks to use as well, docks to put your boat at their marina ( talk to office about that) not sure if there is an extra fee for that, mini golf, nice pool, ice cream and goodie shack, shuffle board, basketball court, volleyball, , playgrounds, ect...they have so much to do there. I believe they have stuff to rent, too. Lots of hiking , biking, and ATV trails so close by it was great. Also, there are so many state parks within a few miles from the campground to enjoy! The only negative we had was the office staff were not very friendly at any given point of our stay, which was not cool with us!! Their garbage guy and pool concessions lady ( Judith) were super friendly, which we appreciated a lot!! With that being said, we will definitely be back again if in the area! Come in and check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Our 4 night stay here was excellent. We were in site 214 and had lots of privacy… campfires every night while star gazing. Used the clean pool on a hot day. The lake the campground sits on is clean and big. This was our first camping adventure with Full Hookups and it was a treat! We will be back. We also loved the 2 near by local breweries. Great paved Bike trail also!

I'm only rating our dining experience at this campground as the campground itself has been what we expected. I just wanted to warn anyone paying 18.99 for their 1/2 lb perch they serve on Fridays. They DO NOT skin them. It tasted like stale old fish and is the reason some people cannot stand fish. I also noticed that we were served our drinks in small plastic cups, while the table next to us got large glasses. We were still charged the normal price. Oh well. You live and you learn. So disappointed for our $90 bill for 2 adults and 2 children. I wish we would have went and checked out a local restaurant instead.

Jeff & April do an awesome job. The Bar & Grill has had some changes made in the last couple years and its been great. More improvements continue to be made throughout the campground. People need to keep in mind that everywhere is short staffed, this campground isn't exempt from that. Be polite and be patient. It's not difficult.

My wife and I along with our 3 children recently spent 3 nights along with 2 other families. Staff went above and beyond to help facilitate an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to a return visit next summer.

This is a beautiful campground, and so much more! Perched above Lake Tamahawk and nested in the woods, they offer an amazing, relaxing experience. Between the pool, beach, mini golf, disc golf, bar, boat launch, fishing, wildlife and boat rentals there is always something for everyone in your family to do! You won't want to leave! Reserve early as in peak season they can fill up fast!
