I like that this campground is so close to home. They have a lot of things to offer like the playground for kids, fishing, the little beach area. They also have cool trails to walk. You can also rent a golf cart to ride around which is cool. We were the only tent campers last weekend so we had that spot to ourselves and they had port a pottys right by the sites, which were fairly clean. It seems like they have events going on pretty often.. the weekend we went they had karaoke which you could hear throughout the entire place 😅 The price wasn't bad either.

Been here 3 times but after this weekend I will never be back. They took $25 out of my deposit because they was some banana on the futon cover and now they have to clean it, shouldn't they clean that stuff after every stay anyways. But are okay renting the cabin with the shower looking the way it did it was so bad I didn't feel comfortable showering all weekend. Then when I tried to discuss it with Melinda she got rude and nasty saying I'll charge you more if you just want to argue. She has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen and I'll definitely never come back because of her and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know about her and to stay away from this campground.

I hope they will call and discuss the ideas of next year the plan they have for Sundays. Stayed in Cabin. Make sure you bring your own sheets. Had a great time! Getting bigger cabin next year. Very nice people at the desk. Close to home. Would love to have a camper to stay there more.

I came this weekend for a motorcycle event that I saw a flier for at millers. Being from garrett, I have never checked this place out. We brought our kids and let them jump on splash springs while we hung out and chit chatted with people that were there for the event and listened to the band. It was so busy and chaotic with the event, we loved it! We will probably rent a cabin in the future as all the campers told us how they love it here and some people have been here 10, 20 years and they are like a giant family. We were directed to a fishing pond so our dog, Champ, could swim. And he loved it! Editing to add, I did read some reviews and it doesn’t seem like some people had real issues other than miscommunication. I talked to the park manager for a bit, and she was super sweet and very informative! Everyone looked like they were having a blast and I’m really glad a place like this exists in our little town and seems to give back to their people.

Place is an absolute joke. The place is ran by a bunch of people that have zero idea of anything going on. We rented and paid for cabin online 2 adults 2 kids 1 dog. We was there for 3 days then get a call from them saying you aren’t allowed a dog in that cabin it will be $100 dollars or you need to take the dog off the property. In the mean time there was 5 other dogs next to us through out the week in the same cabins. While I was paying this $100 dollars there was a family that just checked in to their cabin and was complaining about black dog hair in the cabin they rented. At the same time the lady is telling me they don’t allow dogs up in those cabins. Then we are leaving and we wiped everything down with Lysol and clean it all up nicer than it was when we got there. I get told it’s a $25 fee for a dirty sheet. I was told the manager would be back an a hour and she would call me to discuss the dirty sheet. I can’t wash the sheet due to the washer machine being broke at the campground also. I asked before I left to Wendi and the young lady that checked the cabin. Is that the only thing wrong was a dirty sheet no other hidden fees coming my way. They said no sir that is the only thing cabin was fine besides a dirty sheet. I said please have the manger call me they said she would an a hour when she got back. We got no phone call at all and all of a sudden now they want to say the cabin smells like smoke….we have emailed and asked for the manger to call. Still no call place is an absolute joke.

Indiana Spring Campground is a place that leaves me with mixed feelings, but overall, it has a lot to offer depending on what you're looking for. During the off-season, the campground is peaceful, gated, and truly beautiful. It’s an excellent spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings, with mature trees that provide a great setting for scenic walks. The quiet atmosphere and serene environment make it perfect for those seeking solitude. In the busy season, the campground transforms. The hustle and bustle might be appealing if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, but it can also feel overwhelming if you're looking for tranquility. The strict enforcement of the 5 mph speed limit is great for safety but can be frustrating when it takes 15 minutes to get from the front to the back of the park. One downside is that the dense tree cover isn’t ideal for satellite internet users, but that’s a small price to pay for the beautiful surroundings. It’s also worth noting that the park seems to be making an effort to improve lately, which is a positive sign. Overall, Indiana Spring Campground is a solid choice. If you enjoy nature and can adjust your expectations based on the season, this campground has a lot to offer. It’s a place I’ve grown to appreciate.

Worst camp ground I’ve ever stayed at. They don’t follow their own rules. Bands playing till 1 am. Motorcycles revving their engine at 2 am. None of us slept at all. Talked to other campers and they said they wasn’t coming back! Got in trouble for doing the speed limit! 5mph! Oh but if your a park official, golf cart or motorcycle your exempt. Especially park officials in a golf cart. There’s no way they was doing 5mph EVER! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

I was pretty disappointed this year in our week's camping adventure. We stayed in the cabins, which are not bad. The second one next to the bigger one had some pretty smelly water. The fridge either didn't get cold enough or got too cold and froze things. The shower leaked behind the toilet. The last night we were there it was like the entire campground was at one of RVs near, partying till after 1 a.m. we had a couple from our group that had to leave super early for their long drive back to their state. Needless to say, they had a rough drive. Don't get me started on the price for the water obstacle thing. My dad had ordered the reception room and he was told the day of our reunion that he couldn't have it and we ended up using the outside one. In which we had till 5, as we were packing and loading up we could hear the staff complaining about our truck being parked where it was cause they needed to put the band sign up. It was still before 5. There's a few more things, but I already wrote a book. Chances are, we won't be back.

Not a bad place but not the best. Bathrooms are outdated and need improvements badly. Playground equipment is old and needs replacing asap. Fishing is ok but they should stock some new fish in the main pond people fish wouldn't hurt to add some bass and bluegill so kids can catch fish. Add some Bathrooms towards the bad for people who tent camp as well.

First off I would like to say that $520 for a month plus electric is acceptable! Until you get back away from the office and beach area! On the website and on maps it shows a very nice place! That being said, when you get back into the campground they're are some good sites, but the year round people have them taken up!!! The few that are left I believe are saved for their regular weekend customers! The 2 months that we were there we parked in a mud bog and toad stool field!!😡 The one that they had originally had us set up for on the reservation is not where they put us! Oh and the newly paved streets are only one lane with very sharp turn radius! They did not mow our lot for the entire time we were there! The only dumpsters were as you were going out of the campground and were normally overflowing and no one picks up the trash that hits the ground around them! The drinking water smells like rotten eggs even with 2 water filters on the line! The young women that worked in the office/store were great!! The only good thing I have to say about the place!!! If we would've been able to find another place to stay we would have!!! This is the first and only bad review I have give in 4 years of traveling full time!

Most of the campsites have permanent campers there. When we came in we had to track down the owner of a big truck to have it moved out of our spot so we could park. Then we had to go around asking the neighbors to give us one of their campfire rings because the permanent folks took that and the picnic table from our lot. It was awkward. But for the most part all the campers were friendly. The bathroom was a tiny 3 stall bathroom... And 3 tiny showers. The playground needs some work. It's very old and looks like it could fall down at any minute. But it was quiet at night and the beach area was nice. It was good for the price. Wouldn't mind returning.

Where to begin… Wanted to find a place to camp with some friends that we haven’t seen in 4yrs. They live in Ohio and we live in Michigan. We settled on halfway between us and found this place. Had I known then what I know now, I would have driven the entire way to them to not stay at this place. I was hesitant on camping here after reading the reviews but thought it can’t be that bad and as long as we are with our friends, it will be fun. It was fun with them but that’s about all I can say positively about our weekend. This place has more seasonal campers than anything and most of those seasonal sites are not kept up or clean and honestly makes the whole campground feel trashy. Management needs to make some decisions on what a seasonal spot should look like and send out notices to their campers. There were at least two “trailers” by us that had holes in the walls and you could tell no one stayed in them. The playground equipment is in SERIOUS need of repair or outright replacement before someone gets hurt. It leans more than anything and I cannot believe it’s still standing. It really looks like it’s one swing or rowdy kid play away from falling down. The trash receptacles at the front of the campground where everyone throws their trash in looks like it hasn’t been emptied in a couple months and there were 3 large receptacles I believe. I didn’t have to worry about using the one tiny bathhouse they have on site thankfully but I can tell you that it’s all the way at the front of the campground. I have camped all my life and have never come away with as many mosquito bites in one weekend as I did this time. Granted, it’s the time of year but it was very bad and I can’t help but wonder if how little this place is cleaned/maintained has something to do with it. I went to the campground store to see about renting a paddle boat or kayak to take out on the lake and got the sense that the staff didn’t know how many they had that were “operational” and one of them actually made me question how clean they were by his response of “they are out there but I would check them first”. The one shining aspect to this place is how friendly the seasonal campers are. There wasn’t a person that walked by or drove their golf cart by that didn’t wave and say hi. All in all, I am glad to have spent a couple days with some friends of ours but will not be back to Indian Springs Campground for anything.
