We were glad to get the last spot for a single night stay. It looked great online. When we pulled in to our assigned spot I had to clean up the mess of trash, broken toys, a kiddie pool, a stroller, and a bike. The "lakes" are smelly, green ponds. They must be well stocked, because we saw people fishing. The staff were very friendly and warned us against the mosquitos. If you want better than a Walmart parking lot this is that. Don't expect a place to hang out outside or meet new travelers, most of the trailers looked like they had been there for a long time.

Good place to fish. Me, my dad, and grandpa always have a good time there and usually catch a bunch of fish.

This is a great place to fish. Nothing bad to day in the least. Only negative comment would be the website is outdated. It states they offer cabins (2) as well as allowing tents ( 4 spots). Called was told cabins are out service until next year, called back as about setting up tent, said no longer offer. I would suggest updating the website

Wonderful stay at indy lakes! Everyone in the bait shop was super friendly and helpful! The way they have deliveries set up made it very convenient to get my medication thats mail ordered. I appreciate the hospitality and will be back if I come back to the area for work!

Took my granddaughter fishing here today. I didn't get their names, but the staff (two ladies) were very kind. Greeted us, gave us some pointers on fishing and made the experience wonderful. Thank you for making our day pleasant.

To exspensive fishing license are not that expensive and I don't fish that long use to be a place I go all the time but I'd go to local parked and rivers and buy license before I'd come pay 30$ to catch mud puppies

Me and some friends went to go fishing and nobody was there. We saw a young man mowing and asked about it and he said new winter hours where added. These new hours where not advertised anywhere besides his word. It would be a lot nicer if they knew what hours you could fish themselves because even what he said one staff disagreed with. Which where the only two people there as well. Terrible service and experience. This is the second time it's happened.

Went night fishing and didn't even need bug spray. Surprisingly quite and appeared to be well maintained with plenty of trash receptacles. Small fires allowed as long as you put them out when you leave. We fished for about 8hrs and tried multiple different baits. Didn't catch anything nor did the 4 other groups fishing that night. At least not that I saw anyway. Not Indy Lakes fault. Some nights they're just not biting. It would be nice if they offered half off your next visit or something like that though if you don't catch a single fish. $30 is a little pricey not to get a bite in 8hrs of fishing

Have been here for a few months. They have over 50 spots most with full hook ups. It is quiet and safe. This is a fishing camp also in the warmer months with big cash prizes. Lots are spacious not under each other's awnings like other campgrounds in the area. Has a grassy front to walk your dogs.

The sites are gravel, very level, and many are shaded by mature trees. It's a fishing lake so I was worried the people fishing might be noisy, but that was not the case at all. There aren't a lot of amenities, but the camp store is open late and has a wide variety including coffee and numerous food items. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable there.
