Inland Harbor RV Park
Overview
Inland Harbor RV Park offers a peaceful, moss-draped escape in the heart of Georgia’s second-oldest city. It serves as a calm sanctuary for those passing through or staying for the season.
Location & Surroundings
Strategically located near Interstate 95 and Highway 17, the park serves as an excellent gateway to the scenic Georgia coast. The surrounding area is characterized by vast salt marshes, tidal creeks, and towering live oaks draped in Spanish moss, providing a scenic backdrop for any stay in the heart of McIntosh County.
Amenities & Park Features
The park focuses on providing essential comforts for a stress-free stay. Guests have access to full hookup sites equipped with 30 and 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. Additional features include high-speed Wi-Fi and pet-friendly policies, ensuring that both human and animal travelers feel welcome and stay connected during their visit.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
History buffs will enjoy being close to Fort King George State Historic Site, while nature lovers can explore the nearby wildlife refuges. The Darien riverfront is famous for its local shrimp boats and fresh seafood dining options just a short drive away. For an adventurous day trip, travelers can easily reach the Golden Isles or take the ferry to the secluded and beautiful Sapelo Island for a unique coastal island tour.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal fit for extended-stay travelers and retirees who value a tranquil, community-oriented environment. It appeals specifically to RVers who prefer a simple and authentic base camp rather than a high-activity, commercialized resort. We love this campground, have been coming here for 5 years. Very easy to get to and the people are great.

As RV park owners ourselves we found Inland Harbor to be a very pleasant stay. Check in after hours was very simple. The grounds are very well maintained, as well as the bathhouse looked as though it were newly renovated. Very nice! There is also a small dog park that my pup enjoyed. This is an easy in and out right off 95, so it was a perfect spot for us for the single night!

A perfect atop-over on the way thru. All sites are pull thru (seems like they are all about 60 feet long) - lots of rigs with trailers in tow. $50 per night - Very low rate! Easy-in from I-95, well organized, easy self check-in, if manager is not there. Not a destination campground, but overall an excellent stress-free stop for the night.
