Very good campground. The view is amazing in fall. You can camp beside the fall leaves and river. The best part is that it is flush toilet and it has light in the restrooms.

My wife and I camped at Four Jeffrey Campground for the first 9 days of October, 2024. During our first weekday period the camp was maybe 15% full. Come Friday and the weekend, however, the camp was 95% full, with lots of large groups. Then, come Monday, I bet the place was 5% full. What a difference! The camp offers many sites that are out in the wide open with no shade, but fantastic views of the mountains. However, there are maybe a dozen or so sites along the outer perimeter that offer aspen tree shade. And, a few of these back up to Bishop Creek. There was a wide mix of tent and RV campers. Not many huge RV's however, and generators were rare during our stay, thankfully! The bathrooms are flush with a sink, not hot water, but clean. The hosts were super nice and circled the place several times a day. The location is fantastic, being 10-15 minutes from North Lake, South Lake, Lake Sabrina and all of the hikes and beauty that come with those! We stayed in site #10, which was definitely one of the nicest, in our opinion. It offered partial shade, backing to the creek and decent spacing from the neighboring sites.

We came here for fall foliage in mid-October. It is an excellent location near South Lake and Lake Sabrina. Clean, beautiful scene, quiet and airy. The restroom is clean, too. The manager is friendly. There are wood for $9 a pack, so get your coins ready. Many sites are first come, first serve.

Fantastic reservable campground at the base of an incredible outdoor playground. We timed the season just right so we got to see the beautiful aspens in their full display of color. Sites 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 are amongst the aspens, with the lower numbers being closest to the raging creek (if you appreciate that background noise). We camped on a mid-October weekend, and the campground was full, so we didn't feel totally alone but yet it was extremely peaceful (the cold probably scares away the fair weather campers). Potable water available, although in the late season temperatures, it was not available in the mornings as the spigots froze overnight (so come prepared with your own extra water), and the bathrooms were clean (despite the full campgrounds). No overflowing trash in the bins, and I'd say everyone there was doing their part to keep this beautiful spot clean. Camp hosts were very nice, and checked with folks every evening. About 15 minutes from the town of Bishop in case you forget something, or your length of stay requires a grocery trip. In the warmer months, I'd definitely bring a pop up, or shade structure, since most of these sites are in exposed sagebrush. Dog friendly; please leash your dogs! Even though your's may be friendly, others are in training/timid/etc., and there's nothing worse than stressing over someone's off-leash dog coming over to say hello when trying to relax in the outdoors. Not to mention when we were there, a collared mountain lion had several pings in the meadow behind the aspens. Lovely magical spot under the care of the National Forest Service. Well done!

Nestled amidst the Eastern Sierra Nevada, Four Jeffrey Campground offers a perfect escape for those seeking a tranquil early summer getaway. June temperatures provide warm days averaging around 65°F and crisp nights dipping into the mid-40s. The campground has lively creek, its fast-flowing waters providing a constant soundtrack and a potential spot for fishing (depending on regulations). Scattered trees line the creek banks, offering shade for some campsites. Spacious, open sites dominate the central area, ideal for large groups. For those seeking shade, options closer to the creek might be preferable. All sites come equipped with essential amenities like bear boxes, fire pits, and picnic tables. The well-maintained restrooms feature flush toilets and sinks, but remember to pack your own soap and paper towels as these are not provided.

Campground in beautiful Inyo county national Park... Done really nice camping spots, some aren't as nice. There's a Black bear there that likes to rummage through campers things looking for food which is unnerving. All in all a really nice campground. Clean restrooms. Nice amenities.

Such a lovely camp ground when you choose a site near the stream. Clean bathrooms. Kind camp hosts. A wonderful place to unplug.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Four Jeffrey campground and loved every minute of it. The Camp Hosts were accommodating in a special request to make a sweet surprise happen for me. The facilities are so clean and the campground is spacious. There are great views and the campsite has easy access to Bishop and the surrounding lakes. Thank you Betty for making this an amazing weekend happen for us!
