We chose this location over other RV parks in the area because they advertise that there is WiFi…after getting set up and trying to connect with no luck and not even seeing their network to select, I called the office and was told to come to the office and connect and it would stay connected once I returned to my rv site. That is absurd. If you want to charge a premium price you should have larger sites and the wifi you advertise, otherwise your rate should be much lower. Our Coach is almost touching the rv behind us!

We enjoyed our stay at Iron Horse RV Park and will definitely return. Very clean and well maintained park. Our site was a Deluxe back in, very spacious and didn't feel like we were crowded. Although we didn't use, the clubhouse/rec area looked well appointed. Not really a downside for us but passing on for info - there's a bit of road noise if your site is along the entrance (Chattanooga). Wi-Fi was a bit slow with intermittent 4G internet service.

The park was virtually empty. We arrived about an hour before check in time and the clerk gave me attitude because we were early. She acted as if she was doing us a favor letting us checking in. I have been coming to Ironhorse for many years and have always appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service. Unfortunately, this year's experience was quite different. Upon arrival, the girl who checked us in was unexpectedly curt and unfriendly, which was disappointing given the consistently welcoming environment we've experienced in the past. We were assigned a site that turned out to be too small for our rig, and although there were three larger, empty sites directly across the way that would have accommodated us, I was told -- quite bluntly -- that they were taken when I walked back and explained that the site she assigned was small. Her response was you stayed in similar many years and never had a problem, and I told her that we have a larger rig this year, but she didn’t care. Now, two days later, those sites are still unoccupied.She was totally untruthful. The space next to us had vomit in the curb and a guest did not shut his black tank and mess was running down the driveway. There is no maintenance staff that I saw to report this. It's disappointing to feel unwelcome at a place we've enjoyed so much over the years. Sadly, this experience has led us to consider finding a new park for our future visits. KOA Elko is close by and less per night.

I caught a last minute cancellation on my way through and I’m so glad I did. The resort was very clean, safe, and well managed. The pet area was a nice feature. While I didn’t get to partake of the pool/hot tub, it looked nice. Some of the sites seem to be seasonal, but the whole campground was held to really high standards. This was a great overnight respite after a long day of driving.

Our horse RV Park is very nice and convenient to reach from the interstate. Although it’s close to the interstate being situated down the hill, makes it a quiet park. They’re over 190 RV spots at this park but I would guess 80% or long-term renters. The bathrooms are very cleanand the staff was very friendly.

This is a very nice RV park. It is well maintained. There are lots of trees and some sites have grass that is beautiful. The restrooms are spacious and super clean, the laundry room as well. Check in was quick and the office staff were helpful. It is quiet and very safe. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

Best RV park in Elko. After an issue at another RV park in Elko, my husband was hesitant, however everyone there was absolutely wonderful! Great customer service, clean lots, and wonderful experience overall.

Park was clean, very nice spaces, paved roads, landscaped wonderfully, but they call themselves a resort, at the resort price, you would think that the pool and hot tub would be functional.

Nicest place for RV stay. Only place we have ever stopped that has sidewalks. I use a cane and like to take an am and pm walk with my little dog and the sidewalk is much easier to walk on.. Very clean and quiet. Main lodge has nice area with DVDs, TV, games books couch and chairs. All very nice. Thanks for the great stay!!

Very nice RV park, clean well-maintained. Full hookups. Water pressure is fantastic. Restrooms laundry room are very nice. We stay here a couple times a year visiting family in the area. Our go to RV Park in Elko.

We stayed one night and were impressed. The checkin was easy, staff friendly, and the lounge sitting room was luxurious. Bathrooms have 3 showers, and everything is super clean and warm. Laundry room is large and clean with 6 washers and 6 dryers. The entire RV park was neat and well organized. One minor concern is the periodic sound of a train but it was only noticed twice.

We needed a one night stay while traveling and this RV park had a spot long enough for us. We were able to get a spot for only $39!! That's an awesome price. We chose site 61 and was able to level while still connected. The place is super clean. Update: the only negative for site 61 is the all night rail yard activity right behind the fence. It woke us up at least 3 times. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would stay again.......but up front. Thank you

Honestly it's a shame I need to leave a 1 star review. This place is cute, clean and has the potential of being a nice RV park. First, this isn't their fault but I think other people need to know this. There's a train yard right behind this place and the trains honk and rattle by all night long. Second, they came out and said they are shutting the water off Monday morning to fix their main water line. That was it. I thought it would be done by Monday night. I get home from work. They haven't even broke ground on the leak. They have done nothing. The front office said they might not even get it done until Wednesday. So 3 days without water. They wouldn't provide a refund, nothing. This should be illegal. I cannot believe they are not even TRYING to fix the water. I would not recommend this place at all.
