Stayed at Campsite 2, which is much larger than #1. Very good site, very private except from the river. There was no firewood left at the wood spot, but we made due with all the dead wood around the area. There's a vault toilet parked between the two sites. Distance between camp sites is approx 300 feet, so all but the most rowdy can't be heard. I had a bluetooth speaker going all afternoon and you couldn't hear it from the other site.

Canoe in campgrounds are the best. Site #1 has a floating dock and a nice swimming area, grassy tent pads. Site #2 is better for larger groups of hammocks, packed dirt mostly, not really a good swim spot though. No fire wood or potable water -- I could tell there was a spot for wood but nothing was there. Poison ivy abounds. There is an extra $10 for reservation fee so it's $27 not $17.

I had an awesome time here! It was so relaxing. For you love to soak up some sun and enjoy nature while floating down the a river, pleeease check it out!

Very cool 😎 place to camp if you can handle the canoe in 💪. May I suggest when on Canoe Campsite #2 Pitch your tent well away from the fire pit and not just for fire hazard but because it floods BIG TIME! Within a 50' radius of the pit itself. Bring lots of bug spray and prep for rain even though forecast gives the all clear. I noticed a lot of broken glass in the woods so be careful! Enjoy and please keep the place clean for the next occupants. Witnessed a snapping turtle battle on the river I tried to take a pic but they scattered too quick. The big one had to be a least 3' in diameter; not joking,... UNBELIEVABLY!!! monsterous snapping turtle its head look like a small crocodile, very intense to witness to say the least. WOW!

Great basic services (picnic table, fire pit, pit toilet, grill, drying rack) plus a floating dock at site #1 and they supply firewood!

Canoe campsite #1 is quite spacious and has basic amenities: fire pit, vault toilet, bench, picnic tables, dock, drying rack, and charcoal grill. They also supply a small amount of firewood, a refuse container, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper. Two disappointments: there was dog poop all over the site and I had been told there was water. There was obviously water in the river, but no potable water at either campsite or anywhere in between.
