Absolutely beautiful campground, the views were all amazing. Each campsite had a unique viewpoint. We stayed in 33 and it was a beautiful Mountain View. $20 for non-electric and 30 for electric sites.

So much I wished I'd know before booking a site here. First of, if you have a big rig know that to get to the campground you have to go down a one lane dirt road thats very curvy and steep and that you also have to leave that way too. Second, photos of sites online are deceiving. When I booked my spot it looked like it had plenty of shade. Yet, when I arrived in 100 degree heat, it was fully exposed to the sun. Also, some sites are not right next to where you park. You have to haul all your stuff down steep steps, which I didn't even bother with. Next, if you go for a spot with an electrical outlet be sure to ask how it works because there are a bunch of fuses in the box and since I wasn't sure how to use it I ended up not using it. That ledt me with $10 bucks down the drain and with no power left to my devices. If you know the area, then you probably know which spots are good and which are not. Mine was just bad. However, the lake is stunning, especially at night. So if you're good with risking the driving on the one-way hill and can get a spot by the lake, then go for it! Lastly, the mapping of this campground is awful. I drove around in circles, trying to figure out how to exit. Thankfully, I found a regular there who helped me out, but I was stunned to know the exit was just as risky as the road in and out of the place. I most likely will never stay here again, but it was definitely adventurous! One last note, be careful of shopping at the local stores in this area. The place I stopped at was selling expired food and drinks.

Pretty nice lake not bad at all has plenty of parking and tons of places to part I ended up driving truck next to the water easy to get too and not too crazy to drive through terrain

Stayed here M-F about two weeks ago with my son. Gorgeous views and really clean campsite (#21 is the site to get if you’re tenting it). Park volunteers were super friendly. Not sure how it is on weekends, but we were one of only 3 campsites occupied the entire week, so it was very peaceful. Bathrooms have showers, but make sure you use the one that keeps the door closed. The bathroom/shower at top of hill left doors open so about a million bugs lay dead on the floor. Not a dealbreaker, though. The other bathroom was surprisingly clean. Will definitely camp here again!!

Nice park. Had some issues finding a spot we would fit in but the rangers where very helpful!. Also not the parks fault but smoke from the wildfire and low lake level made it a bit less fun.

Labor day weekend 2021. We had a great weekend despite the high temps. It was nice being by the lake to cool off. Our original camp site offered no shade but after talking with the park ranger, they kindly let us move to another shadier spot. It was perfect. Hung up our hammocks in the shade and it made for a very relaxing long weekend. Will definitely come back in the future! Just a few things that I know might bother some: from some sites it can be quite a walk to the water, noise does carry in the campground so for those who go to bed early expect noise, quiet hours are after 10 pm but there was definitely some noisy campers after then, some sites are not shaded at all so be wary of that.

Will never stay here again! It is dry camping, but the Website does not mention that generators must be shut off at 10pm. So our AC was not able to run at night when it was still 90 degrees. My father in law’s c-pap machine was unable to run at night. When this was brought up to the ranger, he said we should have planned better.

If you like loud obnoxious sounds and cursing from drunk folks in the middle of the night then this is the place for you. We were already having a hard time resting at night, on the last night around 11:30 pm I started hearing sounds of coyotes, cougars etc. Thinking this cant be real, I went out to look. I found a speaker pointing towards the first row of tents. This speaker was transmitting these sounds. Needless to say it added to my frustration. Never coming back to this site. For those who prefer to sleep at night, I'd recommend a different location. This was over memorial day long weekend.
