We stayed one night at Island View Camping in a tent and chose a waterfront site — highly recommend it! The river views were beautiful, with both sunrise and sunset making it extra special. The best spots are definitely the waterfront ones, especially supersote #97 The campground is well-kept, offers great value for money, and is especially convenient for RVs and trailers. There’s also a nice playground for kids, which families will appreciate. The manager was very friendly and helpful, making the stay smooth and welcoming.

This was our first visit at this campsite. Our two night stay was very pleasant and our site was clean and spacious enough. We received excellent service from the management. Honestly, we enjoyed the 15 minute drive in St-Andrews and we must say that this campsite is much more pleasant than the one by the sea that is very crowded.

If you’re looking for a scenic, peaceful campsite near St. Andrews, this is the perfect spot! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our kids especially enjoyed the pools, which were a highlight of our time at the campground. We stayed at site 41, while it's close to a neighbouring site, it still felt spacious and was just a short walk to the beach. On our next visit, we’re hoping to stay at site 97, which we can tell is the most scenic spot in the entire campground.

Reserved a camp site a day in advance specifically asking for a site with trees to set up my hammock to rest for the night as I was traveling, host set me up with a quiet spot next to a few trees to choose from. At 9:00 pm the owner came over relatively hostile with a bit of a language barrier telling me to remove my hammock from the tree due to it being a liability to his insurance and that if the 1 foot diameter tree was to break and fall in the night killing me it would be on him and that I should think of the company before making such decisions, asking him what should I do, this is my only means of camping that I have been doing for over 10+ years he stated find another way but remove the hammock, upon asking about a refund seeing as I just paid 20 minutes ago was told this was okay he just walked away. The shop was closed and I was stuck with no refund or place to sleep I left and stayed at an Inn down the road that just so luckily was open to guests past 9:30. Went back in the morning for a refund and was granted the possibility to refund but upon a day later have not seen the money back in my account. Seems like a nice place to stay but be aware who is profiting off of your money when you decide to do business. There is a much nicer campground 15 minutes down the road that would be more than happy to welcome you with open arms called Kiwanis Oceanfront camping, up on later talking to some folks the campground was bought my new owners a year ago has declined.

The service was great. Only had 30 amp. The sites were a little close together. But seemed to be a very popular fun loving place

I rarely say anything on Internet, but I do feel encouraged to to reply the comments that Taylor Shears made on us. I trust you are the lady who cancelled your reservation in last summer and when you were told that we had 48 hour cancellation policy, you threw your anger and called us "stupid" and threatened us with "a bad review" on Google. From what you wrote we know you have never been in our campground. If you were there probably you would have seen that I walk around the campground with a plastic bag in my hand to pick up garbage along the roads and on the beach. It is my daily routine. Our washrooms are very clean because my husband checked them at least twice per day. The cyber bullying made lots of business owners being afraid of standing up for their rights. We don't fight over Internet. I will never insult anybody publicly since I don't even do it privately. I will leave it to your own conscience. But for your own benefits, next time when something like this happens, please simply offer your honesty and respect. The way you treat others will come back to you, you may not know when and where, but surely it will fall on your own head one day. I hope you have peace in your mind and enjoy your camping somewhere else.

Very friendly owner. Beautiful campground. Laundry works well, showers and toilets are clean. Only thing missing is wifi.

Nice place. Close to the ocean and beautiful St. Andrew's. Pools but I'm nòt sure why they charge you by the minute to use the showers.

The morning of coming I got a call that they wanted to move my campsite, I never went to this campground before so I just agreed to be moved. Well I got there and found out that my new site was right on the corner basically in a parking lot directly beside the swimming pool. It was also across from the garbages, playground, and washrooms. It was so public we couldn’t enjoy the site for a minute. People were always walking directly through our site causing our dogs to bark. All around the fire pit was also soaking wet the whole weekend even though it didn’t rain the pass few days. The spot they had is in should of never been a campsite. Next the washrooms were dirty and most of the stalls in the men’s washrooms didn’t even lock. You also have to pay for the showers which I’ve never seen at a campground before. The only good part about the campground is the ocean which we ended up spending the bulk of the trip there because our camp site was so bad we couldn’t enjoy it and only slept there. I did pick up a few bags of trash from the beach, as there is no trash cans around the campground I saw a lot of litter. This campground is very much designed for seasonal campers in trailers. All the spots I saw that were for just weekend campers were terrible placements and super close together but the seasonal had beautiful spots.
