Pulled in late, had our choice of sites. Beautiful spot overlooking the lake and river. Paid in the office the next morning. Ranger and staff were super nice and helpful. We will be back!

A great stop while boating the Loop. High-roofed, floating, single, covered slips. However, limited to 87 octane gas with ethanol. Has great motel rooms. I guess there was once a restaurant, but no longer. People were as friendly and helpful as could be. The fuel dock is not staffed. Like fueling a car in most states, you put your credit card in and pump yourself. I don’t believe there was diesel. And marina fuel with ethanol is just unacceptable. I took on just 20 gallons, but also use fuel treatment. I was directed, by telephone, to my slip assignment. No need for a boat my size (28’) to take antennas down. And with a single slip set up, you don’t have to worry about the boat next to you. The metal framing of the slip was covered by Starboard like material. I still put fenders out. But the dock was very nice and easy to use. The rooms were inexpensive compared to most everything else on the water, so I took that opportunity to get off the boat for two nights. The restaurant may be gone, but the rooms have a full kitchen. I tried Uber Eats just for something different, but no one would take my order. Maybe the Park is too remote? I’m sure I could have found someone if I was persistent, but it just wasn’t necessary. When I got to meet the people in the office, they were as nice as could be. They normally stock food and desserts themselves but said the powers that be had been slow in processing their requests. As a result, their shelves and freezer were nearly bare. What a shame. The Park is big with quite a few amenities. I do recommend it as a great stop for boaters. But I’d also hope the shelves are not so bare my next time through. And, if you’re going to carry ethanol fuel on the water - and why would you? - At least also carry fuel treatment. But the people working there were the highlight. Every person I met was friendly, helpful and cheerful.

We loved our time here staying in one of the cabins. The cabin looked over the water and had all the amenities we needed: oven, stove, fridge, heater, bathroom, etc. There is plenty of space between the campsites, RV sites, and cabins, so we never felt cramped. The putt putt course was a blast, and there was firewood for sale at a very reasonable price at the lodge. We look forward to returning, highly recommend!

Beautiful park with a beautiful lake to kayak on. Unfortunately, I hurt myself and was unable to enjoy all the things. :-( we’d definitely be back). The restrooms were beautiful, warm inside (it’s fall) and hot water.

Waterfall can not be viewed from land. Ample parking and beautiful view of the river. Staff at the office was extremely helpful. They had to open all the doors so I could get in to the building to use the restroom. Even gave us some suggestions on what to see and do.

A very nice park with pool access. My kids loved that. My smallest kid doesn't like swimming in the lake, which made having the pool close great bc there isn't much of a place to swim from the bank. We spent a night primitive camping, grilling (there is a grill provided), painting and whittling sticks. Once it got dark, there were no road lamps or otherwise so, It's important to remember to bring enough flash lights for everyone bc the roads aren't lit if you need to walk to the bathroom at night or just to get around your campsite at night in general. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked which says a lot considering it was a holiday weekend.
