We had to change from other campground. I am so happy we found Big Hart. Almost all the campsites are pull through. And huge. The sites are very far apart. We stayed 2 weeks and wanted to stay longer. It was peaceful. I walk the entire park every day. I barely saw another person. You can walk to the lake from almost every site.

Very nice sites along the lake side very quiet and clean they are still recovering from hurricane debris so keep that in mind when visiting but I would recommend 100%

A most excellent campground! The manager is wonderful and does a great job. The sites are nice and spread out. All around a jolly good place to camp.

What a beautiful surprise. We were looking for an overnite spot on our way home and we're fortunate to get spot 28. It is lakeside with a huge site and even grass for the dog. Beautiful views, no road noise and just about perfect... Pulled in, parked w/o unhooking camper and it was perfectly level. I checked out the bathroom... Spotless and hot showers... Okay this now makes the list of top 5 campgrounds we have stayed at! Staff were very friendly and helped us get the reservation over the phone. Note there are no sewer hookups but there is water/electric and a dump station. We will be back!

This is our 2nd time here, we came about 2+ years ago. It's a beautiful park, very clean, nice and quiet. We're at #5 this time, and it's mostly shaded, with water view. Easy to put in kayak, sit, or lay in a hammock by the water. Spot #3 looks even better with 180 views of water, so I'll probably book it next time.
