Every campsite is level which can be very important to rv campers We walked the entire camp and each site had that wow factor with stunning views of the lake, BBQ grill, fire ring, picnic table and most importantly, privacy. Modoc has got to be one of our all time favorite stops, whether for a night, a weekend or a week My only complaint is they close down so early in the year: right before the fall colors appear. It's strictly a summertime campground.

Tree branches need to be cut back so 'not so experienced drivers' can park better on an unlevel surface. Turning around at 1 on the spots is a challenge with several trees in the way. Other than that we absolutely loved our 4 days of relaxation with the sunsets. We will be back again and I'll not hit every branch.

This is a lovely park, great for hikers, lots of hills, valleys, and rough coast lines. Hosts are very attentive and pleasant folks. I will return. Don't forget the leveling blocks!

Had a great time, well kept. We were in site 65, nice and spacious, pretty views. Back in, pretty level needed one skinny lift on one side. Lot is shaded, had lake access, one of the biggest lot in that loop. Bath house not too far and pretty clean. Grill, cleaning table, fire pit w/grill, tall pole with hook. I saw many uses for this when we were there this weekend. Would definitely look for this site again. Only 5 miles from GA boarder.
