Jacobs Well Tourist Park is a lovely little dog-friendly park located straight across from the local shops & Tavern. Then once on the deck of your Villa you can enjoy the beautiful views. We recently stayed there three nights in Villa 5, a beautiful two bedroom fully self-contained Villa with everything we needed, complete with a built-in BBQ on the deck, great for cooking Bacon & Eggs for breaky. Thank you for allowing Dogs in your Villa's we always travel with our fur-child. We enjoyed our stay & will definitely recommend & we will be back.

Absolutely amazing little dog friendly park .When they say dog friendly they mean it , from the off leash area to the the dog treats they gave our dog . Plus you can grab a coffee from the on site coffee van to have while the dog run in the full fenced off leash area . THe park was extremely clean and the staff were amazing . And the view was amazing . Very quiet relaxing time had by me and my wife and our 4 legged child . For a small town they a good choice of food options ,try the tavern great food . These guys are doing it right and giving a wonderful place to relax and unwind in a great setting . The amenities were a highlight with how clean and well maintained they are . we are so glad we stayed thanks to everyone .

Jacobs Well Tourist Park was way better than expected! The location is amazing, and although it’s rated as a 3-star park, I honestly can’t find any faults. I’d definitely recommend this park — kids would never get bored, as there’s so much to do in the area. After reading previous reviews, I came prepared just in case the midges were an issue, but thankfully during my stay they weren’t a problem at all — the can stayed untouched! You’re so close to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, yet it feels so peaceful and far removed. A great spot overall.

It's a nice park in a tucked away location not far from the Gold Coast. Quite a bit of dirt to set up camp largely due to the lack of rain recently. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by the midgies and sandflies. They were relentless despite us being diligent with repellant. We left a day early due to our littles ones and us adults getting smashed with bites. Facilities were clean and it's great location to the water. If you're boating, the jetskies are plentiful and pretty inconsiderate on the water, suggest avoiding the weekends if possible. The fish and chip shop across the road was awesome. Feedback for the park that can be controlled - the number of different codes was beyond frustrating and inconvenient. Different codes for mens bathroom, womens bathroom, laundry, entry and exit gate, pedestrian gate is jist crazy, understand security but surely some can be combined. Unfortunately as a whole we likely won't be returning.

Nice location and decent quality facilities, you would have no idea you are near the good coast, it's a tiny country town surrounded by cane fields. Pet friendly, and on weekends they have a coffee van. The only downside was that we were absolutely savaged by sand flies/midgies, make sure you wear long sleeves/pants/socks and bring out all of your insect repellents.
