This was the perfect stop to camp on a road trip. Not too far from the highway and all the amenities to make you comfortable on a road trip. The host was fantastic and very welcoming, the firewood was a perfect addition to our late arrival, the showers were warm and it was pretty clean throughout the campground. I highly recommend Jacomo Campground and will keep it on my list for the future!

We had a bad experience and are leaving after 1 night. My husband was jumped on by an aggressive dog that the owner could not control despite being on a leash. Thankfully he was not bitten. Quiet hours were not respected nor enforced. I had to get up twice to ask a group of campfire partiers to quiet down. The 1st time at 12:15 AM and again at 1:15 AM. Both time my requests were not honored. We will find somewhere else to camp.

Spent a week here in a FHU site in our fifth wheel. Our site had no shade, but many others did. Gravel pads & campground was gated. Hosts were very active & visible, which we appreciated. Very quiet and nice distance to KC.

It was a nice campground, but it felt like you were right on top of each other. Very little privacy. Most of the campgrounds sit directly on the road which takes away from the tranquility. Other than that, it was peaceful and clean. The camp hosts are VERY attentive. I've never seen a park patrolled so much. We did like that you could buy ice and firewood on the premises.

Pretty little campground but hard to find. GPS got all confused and sent us down a dead end street in our RV. Camp hosts are very helpful. So quiet and peaceful. We had shady spot with peekaboo lake view. Not very level but plenty of room. We would definitely stay here again. Would suggest the county plant more shade trees around campsites and add some directional signage.
