The location provides immediate access to the stunning landscapes of the Icefields Parkway, surrounded by towering peaks and glacier-fed waters. Its position tucked away from the main highway traffic ensures a secluded atmosphere where the natural beauty of Alberta remains the primary focus of your stay.
Amenities & Park Features
As a rustic facility, Jonas Creek is designed for self-sufficient RVers. You will find dry camping sites equipped with picnic tables and fire pits for traditional evening gatherings. The park features basic amenities including pit toilets and a communal hand pump for water. There are no power, water, or sewer hookups available, and the sites are best suited for smaller RVs and camper vans, typically accommodating units up to 25 feet in length.

Nice campground. Just next to the highway but it is very calm with a lot of trees and a small river. Wood is included with the camping fees ($26 in 08/2022). Toilettes and kitchen shelter on site but no showers.

As the name suggests, a creek beside the CG. Primitive but serene. Beware its close to the highway 🛣

Very loud creek even after 11pm. No one to turn the creek volume down after quiet hours.
