We stayed at Whistlers campground during the 1st week of October. The campground has all the facilities you need full hookups and sewerage facilities. The toilet and shower blocks are newly renovated and always very clean and warm. The staff were friendly and informative and there is a bus into Jasper town. The internet coverage is also excellent and much better than my home town. The campground has elk roaming around and the eerie male sounds echo through the night and coming from the uk it was an amazing sight and sound. After the devastating wildfire of last year, Jasper is still a must see with such beautiful surroundings and sights and a must see.

Whistlers Campground has left an unforgettable memory on the three weeks I spent with my wife and our baby exploring the Rockies. This is not just an ordinary campground – it carries a special atmosphere made of passion, dedication, and a deep sense of belonging to a land that has been scarred by wildfire but is now being rebuilt step by step into something even more beautiful. I will never forget the warm welcome we received at check-in: the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely eager to share the stories of this place. Their smiles set the tone for our entire stay. The stargazing here was nothing short of magical – the Milky Way, the Big Dipper, the Triangle… all so clear, shining above us like I have rarely seen anywhere else. Parks Canada has done, and continues to do, an extraordinary job restoring the area. The results are clear: the campground is beautifully maintained, the sites are all newly rebuilt, and the facilities are outstanding – modern, spotless, and fully accessible. If you have the chance, come here. Return to Jasper, breathe its air, and rediscover its breathtaking landscapes. Whistlers is more than a campground; it’s an experience you’ll carry with you.

Whistlers Campground in Jasper National Park is more than just a place to pitch your RV or tent—it’s a symbol of strength, community, and the undeniable beauty of the Canadian Rockies. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by some of the most genuinely friendly and helpful Parks Canada staff we’ve ever encountered. Their warmth set the tone for our entire stay, and it’s clear they take pride in both the campground and the surrounding park. The townspeople of Jasper are equally incredible—resilient, kind, and passionate about their little piece of paradise. Though the scars of the 2024 wildfire are visible, they do not define the experience. The fire tore through large areas of Jasper town and the park, leaving behind a changed but still awe-inspiring landscape. And yet, life is returning. The forest floor is dotted with green shoots, wildlife is slowly returning, and the spirit of Jasper remains unshaken. The campground itself offers full hookup sites, level gravel pads, and peaceful, quiet evenings under the stars. Modern facilities, clean amenities, and plenty of space between sites make it comfortable and relaxing. Plus, the views from nearby lookout points—despite the fire’s impact—are still absolutely breathtaking. There’s something hauntingly beautiful about watching nature rebuild itself, and Jasper gives you a front-row seat to that miracle. Supporting Jasper now means being part of something bigger: the comeback. The community, the wilderness, and the magic of the Rockies are all still here—waiting to be rediscovered. Come for the views, stay for the heart. Jasper is rebuilding, and it’s more beautiful than ever.
