Overview

Jaymar Travel Park offers a serene retreat nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As a 55+ adult community, the park emphasizes a quiet and orderly environment that caters to seasonal residents and visiting RVers looking for a peaceful stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained, featuring paved roads and level sites that accommodate a variety of rig sizes while maintaining a neighborhood-like atmosphere. It is an ideal base for those wanting to explore the natural beauty of Western North Carolina without the noise of more transient-heavy campgrounds.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just outside the charming downtown of Hendersonville, NC, the park provides easy access to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and the lush forests of the Appalachian range. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills, apple orchards, and crisp mountain air. Its location off Highway 25 makes it a convenient stop for travelers, yet the park remains tucked away enough to offer a tranquil mountain setting. Visitors can enjoy the dramatic changes of the seasons, from the vibrant rhododendrons of spring to the famous autumn foliage.

We stopped over for one night in a travel trailer, absolutely beautiful place. We wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful views, great people and staff. A place we would definitely go back to.

The self-appointed weirdo sheriff of the trailer park made two attempts to illegally detain me because he felt that I should be driving at walking speed. Peepaw is very lucky that he did not find himself in the back of a police vehicle because I had much better things to to, but watch out for him, he's not the brightest bulb.

It is a nice quiet place to stay. Near anything you need or want to do. Very clean. Nothing fancy. You bring your RV or own one of the small vacation trailers. Beautiful area with Mountain View’s and pet friendly. Has a large area for dogs to run or do their business.

In-laws have a permanent camper up here. We don’t often but always enjoy staying here. Everyone is always so friendly and they have a large area for pets, it’s not fenced so no off leash.

We visit Hendersonville annually in the Fall. I've stayed at Jaymar each year in our RV for over 6 years. It's a great park. Rest rooms and laundry are very clean and well kept. Management is friendly and helpful. Location is super and the park is quite with good hard stand.
