Gas pumps run so slow so couldn't get gas. Prices are high because out in country it is a convenience to grab stuff.

The RV park is nicely laid out in individual concrete slabs to park your camper on. They have a very nice, clean washroom with up to date washers and dryers, which is a plus for travelers. The owners have a convince store on the premises with a fuel station. It is a good place to stop and rest for the night or pay their monthly fee. They have wifi hook up which is a plus for a business person.

Nice clean store.. Plenty camper spaces.. It appears they've cleaned out the park of any ppl, that don't take care of their spots. The trees are far and few in between, if any left at all, since the last 2 storms. There are plenty of trees along the South side fence line. I'd suggest renting a spot there, so you have some shade. The store is right in front and that's where you go to rent the spots. They do have a small Laundry Matt with like 3 and 3 in the outside North side of the store. The store has hot pizza, hot wings and they keep Extremely good and hot CAJUN REAL Boudin and Extremely good Sausage in the fountain drink area. The store closes at 10 on most nights. Plus they have butane for sale out at the huge tank.

Went today and bought old candy, it was mushy,old, melted, and the taste was bad. We only ate that 1 then when we brought it up to the worker we gave her the old candy and went to get a new bag we were told by the owner that we couldn’t exchange it because the date wasn’t expired even though the candy was bad. After my dad was showing the owner the deformed bad candy and explained to him how the candy should actually look like and taste like, we were then yelled at to get out of his store. We left and we will not be returning, it’s sad that we were screamed at and disrespected over a 1$ bag of candy. We will for now on be shopping at the new gas station that they are building across the street!

This place is ok..No trees around, so sun just beating down. on campers. Jean Lafitte store is right there and has lots of everything and anything a person may want or need. Most part, friendly and helpful.,

Absolutely horrible customer service. I've been stopping there for gas, etc... for almost 30 years. Yesterday I bought a box of worms for fishing. When I got home I checked and the three worms in the box were dead and dried up. It was too late for me to go back last night so today I went to exchange for a good box. The man at the register was extremely rude and told me next time I need to check the box before I buy. He never even bothered to check my receipt or anything. I asked if I could get another box and he said no. Again next time you should check the box. I told him there wouldn't be a next time. He lost a 20 year customer over a $3.00 empty box of worms. Another Convenience store is opening across the street. I recommend going there with your business.
