RVers are often surprised by the secluded feel and the natural beauty that defines this historic location.
Location & Surroundings
The park is tucked into the breathtaking landscapes of south-central Saskatchewan, specifically within the scenic Willow Bunch Valley. This unique geographic setting offers protection from the elements and creates a microclimate where flora and fauna thrive. The approach to the park is visually stunning, as the road descends into a verdant valley filled with hills and coulees. It is a prime example of the diverse terrain found within the Big Muddy region, making it a favorite for photographers.
Amenities & Park Features
Designed with the modern traveler in mind, the park offers a range of camping options including full hookup RV sites with 30-amp service. Guests have access to modern, clean washrooms, hot showers, and a convenient firewood supply. The on-site 9-hole golf course is a major draw, featuring grass greens and challenging holes that traverse the valley floor. Children can enjoy the designated playground areas, while picnic spots are scattered throughout the shaded grounds for communal gatherings.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Exploring the local area is a must, starting with the Willow Bunch Museum, which houses artifacts detailing the life of the famous Willow Bunch Giant. Nature lovers should plan a trip to see the St. Victor Petroglyphs, where historical rock carvings are preserved on a high plateau. The surrounding hills offer numerous opportunities for hiking and wildlife observation. For a true adventure, the nearby Big Muddy Badlands provide a rugged backdrop for day trips to see the iconic Castle Butte.

Beautiful, well kept campground. Great play area for kids. Warning some of the sites are small and in ackward areas like right beside the bathroom. Double check the campground map for your site.

Water on site is not potable! Used it once for a shower, won't do it again. Fire pit and site not cleaned up. Sani dump closed, have to go to town to use dump there. Paid $40.00 per night for the site plus $10.00 per night for park access. Otherwise staff are friendly, campground and golf course look great and a great pub in town.
