We booked 2 nights here for a group of 10 people via their website. A couple days after the website confirmed our reservation (and charged us nearly $1000 for 5 sites), a woman calls us and said they won't honor our reservation because it's over Labor Day weekend and they have a three-night minimum. She also said we couldn't have that many sites for so few people (they charge a site fee AND a per-person fee, so I guess they're just trying to pack more people into each site to maximize profit). We pointed out that the website didn't say anything about a 3-night minimum, or give any guidelines on how many people per site was appropriate. It also allowed us to book the reservation and took our payment. She didn't care. Said "the website people messed up; we're going to fire them" and rudely refused to honor our confirmed booking. She offered instead to let us have 2 sites (instead of 5) for an extra ~$500 (to cover the supposed 3-night minimum). So nearly $1500 for 2 nights of camping on 2 sites instead of 5. Obviously we declined. It's not easy coordinating 10 peoples' schedules, and it's infuriating to have plans canceled because of multiple mistakes on the part of business with no attempt to make things right. Didn't see these reviews until coming here to leave my own. Now it kind of feels like we dodged a bullet.

Big fan. Best campsite me and my friends have found. Privately owned. Great spot. No corporate BS. Good ol' fashion camping.

My favorite place to camp and hit the river. Been coming here 40 years! Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Sites are spacious and beautiful. Good equipment. If you want to camp 3 feet away from your neighbor and listen to kids cry all night, please go to the other commercial places. If you wanna have an awesome time with some awesome people, go to Jerry's.

Dispite the bad reviews, my family booked our weekend here. We had a very big group. The workers gave us a very large site (on brookside) with more than enough room for all of us and our tents. No water or electric hook ups. (Which we wish we knew before we came) but made the most of it. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest... but the staff is in multiple times a day cleaning! You're camping in the woods! You will get dirt on your feet and track mud around. Fyi no service for t-mobile.

Despite all the reviews that were posted, we had a lovely weekend at Jerry’s! We booked additional people after we originally booked. We were booked for two sites, one river, one not. When the staff realized we were a big group, they accommodated us on one site near the stream (every kids… and adults dream). The staff were so pleasant, friendly, helpful and informative! For being a campground, there was no litter and the outdoors were clean. For all the complaints about the bathrooms, you’re camping, it’s not a 5 star hotel. I can tell you one thing, the staff were constantly cleaning the bathrooms. Mud is expected. You’re outside, there’s dirt, there’s water, morning dew, on a river and stream. I would certainly recommend this camp site. Well priced. Great weekend spent in the outdoors with no cell phone service (Verizon, T-Mobile) to allow to completely detach from life. No water or electric hook up but that didn’t put a damper on our weekend! Thank you for a great weekend full of relaxation, fun and memories that will last a life time.

Love it there!!!! Also they stepped their game up when it comes to cleaning the bathrooms... they could still be a little cleaner but major improvement compare to last year. The water view is gorgeous there! Can't wait to go back!

Amazing location and natural beauty. Staff will be extremely helpful when treated with common decency. This is a campground so don't expect to be completely secluded. Don't come here if you have a problem with other people having fun. KITTATINY STINKS

My friends and I definitely had a blast over the weekend. The staff & owners were very friendly and helpful. Even though there was a miscommunication on our reservation, but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason because the location we were put in was spacious and we loved it. We normally camp at another site for years, but unfortunately this year with covid they decided not to open this year. So decide to try a different one. We were skeptical about coming to Jerry's because of the reviews, but I'm glad that we decided to chance and I tell I can't wait to come back next year. Bathrooms: they have hot water showers which is A+ in my book. Has far as the cleaness of the bathrooms they do try their best keep it up with ,but I feel if people where clean and had considerations that it's a shared bathroom then it would be easier for the staff to maintain a cleaner bathroom .

I’ve been to Jerry’s many times over the last 10 years but this was the last time unfortunately. The two stars are for the river :) Pros: great location, relaxed rules, and riverfront. Cons: dirty bathrooms, extremely overpriced firewood. Camping isn’t supposed to be all nice and clean but they should still maintain their bathrooms. Specially in this COVID19 times. The bathrooms were disgusting for 16+ hours before someone cleaned it. Given the current health crisis, they should clean the bathrooms multiple times during the day.
