Jimmie Davis made for an excellent getaway. Tucked behind a band trees, you wouldn't even know it was there if I hadn't heard about it. My family and I spent the day fishing, playing, and lounging in the beyond gorgeous lake. As a westcoast girl used to the sunny beaches of California, I was a bit apprehensive to let my children in water 🐊. We had no issues. There were many beautiful families enjoying the water as well. Next time, we'll bring some shade cause the sun was baring down at times and provision to grill. We also took advantage of the yearly pass that gets you into all of the parks. The park is clean, the bathrooms were clean and all the people were very nice 10 out of 10.

We were there May 3-5 had a great time. Very clean and the cabins were very nice. The only thing that could be better was the Wi-Fi. Not good but it was ok.
