A little hard to find, but beautiful park. Seems well maintained.

Great little RV spot that's part of the Douhlas County Park Service. There was a little overhead bridge noise at night but not bad. Deer were coming through the park. There is a low train track that ypu have to go under, so if your RV is taller then 12.6 the dont try to go under. For breakfast we walked over to the diner across the street and then walked the river on the way back.

AWESOME PARK, DIDN'T SWIM IN THE RIVER BUT IT IS DEFINITELY A GOOD SPOT.

Absolutely stunning park. Well kept with picnic tables, natural forested walk areas, wide open spaces and is much bigger than it appears from the highway. Very clean and well cared for. Will definitely stop in again. Some fairly gentle natural slopes down to the river. A bit slick if wet.

Beautiful park, right on the river. Lots of parking. Boat ramp. One real bathroom, multiple outhouses. Plenty of parking. If your a pokemon player, you can reach 3 gyms and several spinners. There is a full service camp ground.... no tenting.

John Armacher Park is a wonderful County Park near Winston, Oregon. It is located along the Umpqua River, there is overnight camping, a day use area, an unimproved boat ramp, and River access for fishing. The park was built with Grant Funds from the Oregon Marine Board Development Fund. Check it out, it's a great little gem If you find my review helpful, please give me a thumbs-up 👍 Thank you!

☯️❤️🌲Beautiful park, I've been going there since the age of 6 and spent many summers floating the river. I got away to destress and went to the least busy/safest park to enjoy the scenery 😇🌲🌞. It's really serene and healing to be alone in nature.

Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Has RV camping only with hookups. Showers on site, close to the river.

I played in this River when I was a kid, in the 60s & 70s ..i was driving by & just had to stop.. Took a nap under the bridge.. Cool breeze.. Though I didn't get in the water...

It is under the freeway so you can hear the freeway all the time but that's not so bad if you're used to it. The lady is really nice that runs the place. There's a lot of 20 amp locations to park or Camp not too many 50 or 30 which I need a 30 so I had to go buy a new cord but that's not so bad either. The road is a little bumpy getting here but it's quiet besides the freeway there are geese in a river is near by its very pleasant!
