First off, if your looking for a quiet place to relax and tent camp, this is not the place. Unless you reserve a site months in advance. I was at one of the E sites and it was 20 yards from the high way, there was no clean water and the bathrooms were out of service. None of which is even mentioned in the description online. I had to travel to site B for water and to use the facilities. Which is almost 1/4 of a mile.

Nice spacious campground. The trail was fantastic, the park is clean and quite. We really enjoyed the river barge. Only saw deer and a million squirrels while we were visiting. Verizon internet is weak and AT&T was strong. Enjoyed our stay and exploring Fort Smith.

It's a nice area, the park attendants are very nice. But there is a limit on how many tents you can have. Two tents is all. How is a family of 6 supposed to camp? You can only have a max of 8 people. It's not very good for big families. I'm very sad at this. It's good for small families or campers. Not big family friendly.

Great campground. Nice and quiet! We are in a small fifth wheel and had no trouble getting in. There are much larger rigs that didn't have any trouble either. There are lots of biking/hiking trails in the park as well as views of the river. If it's rained a lot I could see it being muddy in a few lower sites but they have clearly done some work to fix that. For instance our site would have been muddy but next to the asphalt pad they added a lot of gravel and fenced it in with brick. It creates almost a little patio. Only bad thing about the place is the showers. You have to press a button every 20-30 seconds and they don't stay hot long. Maybe 30 seconds. The rest of the time the water is lukewarm at best. I gave it 2 tries then just showered in the rig the rest of the stay. Good cell service if you work from the road. Verizon and TMobile were decent enough to have video meetings.

Very nice park. Great playgrounds. Bathrooms with showers, kept clean. Awesome trails and a little mountain bike skills course. Water access also. Plan to come back and camp.
